I really appreciated this book because it made me step back and evaluate the relationships that I have with the women in my life including co-workers, college friends, and even family friends. In chapter one, Ms. Cullum sites an example of three little girls where two of the girls exclude the third. The example was so vivid, and reminded me that I never want to make another woman feel excluded. We all need to be more aware of how we treat the people around us. This book is very practical and useful. Ms. Cullum makes a lot of great points that I know I was grateful to be reminded of, and I am sure that many other women could use a refresher on as well. The book reassured me that it is okay and even a natural part of life for some friendships to end. As a woman who has recently entered a new stage of life, I needed to hear that. I recommend this book to all women!

I won this book through the goodreads giveaway! Thank you!

I won this book through a Goodreads giveaway. It is really almost more a pamphlet than a book. Nothing earth shattering, but I did like the suggestions on how to "date" yourself to get to know yourself better and have healthier friendships.

This is an informative book that allows the reader to personalize the information. It is a good review for some and basic information for others. I would recommend it for all ages. Because of the brevity of the book, I delayed reading it for several weeks. To my surprise, the author was able to convey information in a meaningful way in few words. I would recommend this to all women, either as basic or a renewal of information in establishing, evaluating, terminating, and maintaining friendships.

I won this book through a Goodreads giveaway. I enjoyed the section on dating yourself. In my profession we call that self care. Female relationships are catty since the moment they start and the author does not hesitate to examine that.It is a short brief read that I will be sure to add to the shelf in my office at work.

This is a good short read that helps women gain friendships and keep them. It feels like a self-help book that has a question and answer section at the end. This is an honest book that has good points to live by. Even though this book is geared more towards females, it can be used toward friendships with anyone. It is a good little book to live by.

The Friendship Dance of Women, By Michelle Cullum

Short, but an interesting read. I had never really considered the dynamics of how women's friendships work, or don't. This takes you from toddler tot's to moving forward into new stages of adulthood. Good food for thought.
