I think my kindle got pregnant… Jeeezus… this book was insanely haaawwwt.
Did it have a plot? Yeah ish
Did it have character development? Sure
But what I loved the most was that it was relationship-driven, and, well, it was also very 🔥🔥👀.
Glitch (Sean) has been wanting his gaming buddy Ara for a looooong time now. He’s never met her, doesn’t know what she looks like, but he continues to fantasize about her day after day. In fact, she’s basically his muse to his side gig- er0tic voice recordings 😅. During the day, he geeks out working at his store with computers and other equipment. But at night, well, that’s when he either plays games or records using his sexy asf deep voice.
Ara’s an artist who’s also been wanting Glitch for a while. Luckily, they’ve been able to talk privately though Discord. She’s tried dating apps and recently broke up with a man that was showing some red flags (and not the kind I like to read about). In her ex’s jealous rage, he kicked her computer, and now she’s struggling whenever she logs in to play.
Enter Glitch 😉. Now they can finally meet 👀
What I liked/love (potential spoilers):
—this was relationship driven❤️. Yes, we get the backstory to both Glitch and Ara and we meet side characters, but the majority of the book is them two figuring out what makes the other one tick, the good, the bad, the vulnerable, the ugly, etc. We see them figure out how to maneuver being with each other. Plus, it was 🔥🔥🔥. Not only because we see lots of on page 😉 times, but when we’re in their POVs, we see how much they actually want to each other. No hesitations, no judgements, just plain feelings that run deeper than superficial bs
—umm.. of course I’m gonna say 🔥🥵💦. Hooooly f… this was STEEEEEAMYYYY ASF. Not only is my kindle pregnant, but I think my fingers are gonna be sprouting baby bumps very soon. Oh. My. LAWD 🔥🥵. This book was suuuuper 🔥. These two did not come to play 😉😅. They make the smeeex scenes in other books look like high school second base scenes. They’re duuurty! And… ANNNND… the stamina and refractory period for both is just making me green with jealousy. Sigh. Good for Ara 😐 lol!!
—duh. The dirty talk🔥. Listen. I don’t know if I’ve ever read a book with an H who voice records dirty stuff (and if I have, I need to reread them lol), but my blush was blushing... like.... okay Glitch; I see you boo 👀. —how protective he is 🥰. I mean, this man will break laws (and jaws) if he needs to 💅
—how JP he is. Yuuuuup. He’s jp. Plus, he’s the ONLY one allowed to see or hear Ara (scream, moan, etc 😅😉)
—he won’t give up. When it seems like things are going to go south, Glitch comes in and saves the day 🤷🏻♀️
—the side characters 👀. We don’t spend too much time with them, but I’m super excited to read book 2
—the low angst was just right. This could’ve easily been very angsty, but it was just enough to make me happy. I even shed a couple of tears
—the sweet moments. Sigh. I totally swooned and felt gooey a few times 🥹🥰
—the way the ex is taken care of 💅
—no third act breakup 👏🏻
What I wanted more of:
—the ex being taken care of could’ve been drawn out a little bit more. The whole situation caused a little bit of angst, so having it detailed more would’ve satisfied me more
—a longer epilogue (as in, years into the future). But I felt happy with what we got

OH MY GOD
This is the hottest book ever. Idk why I waited as long as I did to hop on the Glitch train, but I’m sure glad I did.
This was definitely an instalust/love story, but believable! I never once felt like I didn’t believe the characters when they were diving head first into their relationship. I loved how they met on Discord because that’s actually how I met my partner, so I felt very nostalgic.
The fact we have 2 main characters who are insecure without making cringey, dumb comments gave me life. They both acted their age, communicated with the other, and set the dang place on fire 🔥 🥵🥵 Plus, they were so supportive of each other, my heart couldn’t take it.
The sexy times were scorching. Briana Michaels wrote the hottest dirty talk book I’ve read so far. I’m not okay.

Thank you to the Spice Gods. Glitch is the lip-biting, panty-melting, I drained my batteries, and my Kindle was smoking spice.
Glitch is a computer genius who always connected with Ara, a fellow gamer. It never seemed like the time to meet each other until a fellow friend nudged them to meet.
I was expecting a slow burn and build-up. What I read was the opposite, and I’m not upset about it. The book starts hot and heavy and doesn't fizzle out. It's a fast pace and a significant break in between books. As much as there was a plot, I just wish there was a tiny bit more. But an overall great read.
Side note, I’m sure I’m not the only one imaging Glich’s voice.

This was a fun quick read. It was mainly erotica and pretty much insta-love though they have been talking for months while they are gaming. They never met in person and never knew what each other looked like. They did exchange ''I love you’s'' quickly and talks of marriage in his POV.
Glitch aka Sean was pretty much truly invested in Ara LONG before he put a face to her name. He never intruded on her private life nor made any moves for her while they were gaming or on Discord. He was respectful and even attempted to be open to hearing her want to talk outside of gaming privately. I liked him because of how he handled Ara and the fact she had a boyfriend for a while, despite wanting her and fantasising about her he never crossed a line until she was single and standing in front of him.
The OM drama started out as a typical ex-boyfriend trying to be a douche and get back together with his ex, but it later turned out to being way more disturbing. He installed a software on her laptop to record her when she was in bed, installed a tracker on her laptop AND when Glitch (a computer wizard) hacked into the ex's computer after finding out what he did when he blackmailed her with the videos, he finds ch*ld porn *GROSS*. Glad he got handed over to the police.
I didn't even know that Trey and Erin (Glitch's best friend and sister) would be the next books MMCs but all I kept thinking about during this book was they would be a fun match up and I guess I was right!

4.75⭐️ This is the perfect smutty book, and no one can tell me otherwise!
I will admit to having zero expectations coming into this book. In fact, I hadn’t even read the blurb – I just remember reading a good review about it from someone here on Goodreads and adding it to my TBR. That’s it. But, oh my, do I wish I could remember who the reviewer was just so I could thank them directly, because holy sh*t, this book was hot. Not just hot too, but the perfect amount of k!nk for it to still be sweet and fluffy and romantic - My favourite kind of book!
The MMC, Glitch, absolutely feels like an amalgamation of all my favourite book boyfriends, all rolled up into one hot, sexy, tall, dark-haired, tattooed, and ripped package. And speaking of packages… this guy is seriously packing, but I’ll let you find out just much for yourselves. He’s also so f*cking in love with Ara, the FMC, from page one, I already knew it was going to be good – I do really enjoy instalust in my books, and getting to it quickly. The premise is that they’ve been friends for a long time when the book starts, but they’ve never meet in person and only talk to each other on Discord when they play video games. Still, they already like each other so much, even without knowing what the other looks like, and when Ara’s gaming computer needs to get repaired, one of their common friends suggests she should go to Glitch’s business to fix it. And from the second they set eyes on each other, there’s really no way to stop them.
I love the way this book treats trauma and past relationships. It really shouldn't have to be something you hide from your partner, and definitely not something that they should make you feel bad about. I loved that Ara was so strong and independent, but hurt and insecure about the things in her past. It really rounded up her character, even if plot and character development is not really in the highlights for this book. But it’s hard loving and being proud of yourself if you’re constantly surrounded by people that delight in getting you down, and this book talks about it in such a graceful way. Ugh, I just loved this book. It gave me Games We Play by Dana Isaly feels, just longer and better!
If you want plot, maybe don’t read this, but if you want gorgeous, delicious, scorching heat with a beautiful connection between the MCs - definitely read this book!

I loved that Ara was so strong and independent, but hurt and insecure about the things in her past. It really rounded up her character, even if plot and character development is not really in the highlights for this book. But it’s hard loving and being proud of yourself if you’re constantly surrounded by people that delight in getting you down, and this book talks about it in such a graceful way. Ugh, I just loved this book. It gave me Games We Play by Dana Isaly feels, just longer and better!
If you want plot, maybe don’t read this, but if you want gorgeous, delicious, scorching heat with a beautiful connection between the MCs - definitely read this book!

Then one particular chapter had me like🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 I kid you not! I laughed for 20 mins. It took me forever to finish that chapter because I kept stopping to laugh..
But majority of this book had me like🤯🙈🙉🙊🥵🥵🥵😍
Still, I could only give this one 4.5 ✨ due to a certain missing element here.
Now this is book 1 to a 3 book Trilogy. It appears all 3 books will be centered around Glitch, aka Sean, and his two friends Carson and Trey. Honestly, I have no real interest in those two, so I doubt I'll return for their stories. If I ever do, it will most likely be for book 2 only. Because I know I'll be guaranteed to see more of Glitch and Ara.. but we'll see.
Now, this book is not at all what I thought it would be. In some ways that's awesome. In others not so much. I really could have gone without their first date literally spanning over 7 or 8 chapters. I would have loved to see more story surrounding Glitch and Ara and just a little more pleasure delaying for the anticipation's sake of the story.. BUT everything we got was.... *clears throat* sweet...🤭
I love Glitch. He is most definitely the perfect blend of a male specimen, when it comes to his heart, integrity, how capable, talented, and caring he is. His wrapping and voice wasn't bad either😉. Definitely the icing on his delicious cake 🎂

I really wanted to love this book. It was spicy, I love nerdy geeky characters and it was even better that the h was also nerdy and geeky/socially awkward too. Everything about it was perfect. It could have easily been a 4.5-5 rating for me.
What ruined it was the H was written so similarly to an actual person that it just makes me cringe. At first I didn’t think anything of it because there is more than one person with that type of voice that games. Then we find out the H writes, narrates audiobooks and donates to a sexual assault organization and this went from a 5⭐️ book to a 1⭐️ cringey fanfic of a real life person who’s been through so much already in life INCLUDING another author exploiting him. It just feels gross to me. This author also follows the real life audiobook narrator that seems the MMC is based off of, which makes it look worse. Just no. This makes me sad. I hope I’m completely wrong and that this isn’t actually the case, but since it’s been done before by other authors, I can’t help but assume it’s happening again.
