The four elements of a short story are character, plot, setting and tension and that is what you will find in this book of forty short stories. Some are suspenseful, gripping, humorous, heartfelt, coming of age and some just plain fun. Almost all the stories have a bit of the writer in them. Some of the stories are totally fabricated and some are true based on his eighty years of life experiences. Maybe you can figure out which of these forty stories are true.
This is not written by the historian James Ellman whose books I have enjoyed. Instead, this is some older guy who tried to write some stories during the Covid pandemic, but must have missed all his grammar and punctuation classes when he was in grade school.
