Everything changed the night my dad died.

The night I met Saint, Galen, Caz, and Theo.

Those manipulative a-holes set out to ruin me after our hot night together, but they didn’t realize you can’t destroy something that’s already broken. And it only works if the victim cares.

Which I don’t.

Because I’ve been in hell for years, and nothing penetrates the steel walls I’ve erected.

Until The Sainthood decides I belong to them and cracks appear in my veneer. Their cruel games, harsh words, and rough touch awakens something inside me, and now, I’m in trouble.

They draw me deeper into their dangerous world, until I’m in the middle of all the violence and gang warfare, tangled up in all the secrets and lies, and there’s no turning back.

Because they own me.

And nothing has ever felt so right.

I’m exactly where I should be.

But with enemies on all sides, survival becomes a deadly game with no guarantees.

And, sometimes, saints become sinners.

Due to mature content, this book is recommended to readers aged eighteen and over. This is a full-length 95k-word dark romance novel with enemies-to-lovers/bullying themes. Please read the note at the start of the book. Cannot be read as a stand-alone and ends with a cliffhanger. Book 1 of 4.

Oh My God! I love This Book!

There are four hot tattooed muscular kings of the school, one is named Theo Smith and is a former boyfriend who took the virginity of the heroine Harlow Westbrook, one is named Caz Evans and is especially charming and good looking, one is named Galen Lennox and for some reason hates Harlow, but still wants her, and then there is the leader, Saint Lennox who Harlow feels a connection to and is the hottest of them all.

On the day her father dies Harlow just wants to get drunk and have sex to feel something other than sorrow so she goes to a party at the home of Galen Lennox looking for her boyfriend Darrow who is in a rival gang but happens to be attending the same party. Lo finds him in bed with another girl so she ends up having sex with the four guys from the Sainthood gang. They share women and only have sex with women one time and then never again and Lo is fine with that.

However, she doesn’t know that they have a video camera in the room and they end up sending the video to her ex boyfriend who sends it to everyone. She ends up kicked out of her fancy private school for her senior year and going to public school with those same four guys who then claim her as under their protection. They also end up moving in with her when Saints father becomes engaged to Harlows mother.

Things get complicated from there since they are in a dangerous gang and the guy engaged to Harlow’s mother is the president of that gang. There is also some back story about Harlow being kidnapped and tortured when she was younger and she is trying to solve the murder of her father as well. It is all very intriguing and suspenseful. Meanwhile she is falling for the guys.

The story is awesome and it ends in a huge cliffhanger and I can’t wait for the next book! I don’t want to say more and give anything away but I loved every minute of it and want to read more!

I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.

Reverse harem is one of my absolute favorite genres, and when I heard Siobhan Davis was publishing a new one, I was beyond excited. I posted about it all over social media, and I may have even threatened to disown my friends that didn't pass along the good news. Obviously, I was just joking, but I'm just letting you know my mindset going in. My excitement was through the roof. I read Cruel Intentions by the author last year and enjoyed the hell out of it, so it seemed like a no brainer that I would enjoy this one too.

Reading the prologue of Resurrection, I became even more convinced that I was going to love it. There was emotion, mystery, and group sex.
What's not to love, right?

After that, things kind of went off the rails for me though. I'm pretty good about suspending disbelief when I need to, especially in RH, but this story is next level over the top and unreal. Aside from that, it doesn't seem like a reverse harem at all. Harlow clearly has a stronger connection with one guy and just likes to blow and/or fuck his friends when he allows it. That's not what RH is. (IMO)

I honestly think it's the expectation of reverse harem that threw me off the most. If I wasn't expecting it, maybe I wouldn't be struggling quite as much with a rating. If you like a hero that shares the heroine with his friends and way over the top drama that is unrealistic but action packed and mysterious, you may love this one. Obviously, lots of people do, and I encourage anyone interested to read it! There's plenty of steam too which is always a plus in my book.

I'm mainly leaving this review for other RH readers like myself that may be expecting something else, because like I said, I may have enjoyed it more if I had known what I know now going into it. I love Siobhan Davis' writing style and the mystery she's woven into the story. I'm also curious to see if she changes the dynamic between the guys and the heroine in the next book, so I will likely continue with the series to see how it progresses. Maybe things will turn around in that department, and I'll enjoy it more. Fingers crossed.

'RESURRECTION' is the first full length, reverse harem, romance book in Siobhan davis' (The Sainthood-Boys of Lowell High) series.

Holy crap! God where to start! My rating pretty much tells you that I loved this! I could not put it down! From the beginning to the end the sexual tension was off the charts, the bullying was taken up a notch, the characters I loved wholeheartedly, the storyline was utter perfection, our heroine was badass! And all four boys were over the top hot!! I never wanted this to end! Get ready for a high octane read!!

And then I reach that last page and what a doozy of a cliffy! Holy shit! The author pretty much threw me over with a smirk on her face! The suspense is killing me!!

I need/want/have to have the next book because this book was amazing! Resurrection ticked all my boxes!!

The day Harlow's father died in an automobile accident is the day when her life changed forever. The one man who kept her safe and out of harms way is gone forever. Now she's left unprotected. But he prepared her for this day as much as he could because she is one tough cookie and has weaponry experience and is not afraid to go head to head with anyone!

That day her father died and numbing the pain with vodka and thoughts of needing sex with her boyfriend Darrow she goes searching for him at a party he's attending at Galen's who is in a rival gang. It's there that she finds her boyfriend in bed with another female. So this was the driving point towards her having sex with four guys, Saint (their leader), Caz, Galen and Theo who belong in a notorious gang called the Sainthoods.

People fear The Sainthood for a reason. And now the guys have turned eighteen, they are all undergoing initiation, they'll move u to the senor branch.

What she doesn't know is that someone snuck a camera in the room and filmed it which was later shared around the private school she was attending resulting in her getting expelled now she's starting a new public school and low and behold but these four boys have also started at this new school the same day as her.

Everyone knows The Sainthood controls the guns and drugs on the streets and that they are behind most of the violence and unsolved murders.

These guys are out to make her life difficult, they think she has something they want and they are going to get it by any means possible.

In this life you can never trust anyone!!

’The Sainthood lit a flame to my childhood and murdered my father, and they’ve stolen my mother from me. Saint, Galen, Caz, and Theo may not have been directly involved, but they’re part of the same organization. They own the same crimes.
I do not want this connection with him.
I don’t want to feel the way I feel when I’m around any of them.
I’ve spent years successfully caging my emotions, and they are breaching barriers left and right. They are breathing new passion into me, bringing me back to life, and I hate them for it.’

another cliche bully enemies to lovers high school romance story. another ‘not like other girls’ h, and another typical douchebags that rule the school/town who ‘owns’ the girl Hs… yea, ik what u’re thinking

but at the same time it’s more than that. there’s gang business, there’s mysteries. ok nah thats also fucking cliche. but damn if it wasn’t a page turner for me. other than that, i devoured this in a few hours so thats good. anyway, issa reverse harem romance with 4 guys

Saint, the leader (the main love interest too)
Galen, the one who hates her most
Caz, the ‘playful’ one.
and Theo, the one she has a past with

but my fav aspect of this book is ofc the heroine

In a move he didn’t predict, I lean back, cutting both sides of his boxers, tossing the torn strands away and leaving him fully exposed to me. I press the tip of my knife into his dark-blond pubes, enjoying the flash of fear glimmering in his eyes. “Your cock really is quite magnificent,” I purr, using my free hand to stroke his shaft. Slowly, I move my knife down lower, and his Adam’s apple bobs in his throat. “I’d hate for my hand to slip and cut it.” I let the full extent of my venom show on my face as I press down on the knife, meeting flesh, and I’m sure I’ve drawn blood. I let go of his cock, eyeing it like I might just cut it off.
Saint holds himself deathly still. He’s scared to death I’ll lob off his precious dick. A fit of giggles bubbles inside me, but I smother my laughter, biting down hard on the inside of my cheek to maintain a cold exterior.
This is fucking priceless and the best payback.
“I researched eunuchs after watching Game of Thrones,” I admit, swirling the tip of my knife through his pubes while I watch him try not to flinch. “Did you know there are many leaders throughout history who were eunuchs?” I quirk a brow.
“And your point is?” he says, trying to act blasé and failing miserably.
I move my knife even lower, placing the blade against one side of his cock. I swear he stops breathing. “Just that you’d be in good company if I did, you know, decide to castrate you for pulling that little stunt.” The grin I give him is downright wicked, and the potent fear on his face is something he can no longer hide

we need more equal moments like that between the mcs. to the point where the guy actually genuinely fears the girl back, not only the girl that’s ever on that position. ⛳️equal rights ⛳️

okay a little explanation bout that scene on the above (my fav one from the entire book ofc) :

Saint and the others left her in the middle of the night in the mid of a forest (fucking threw her in a hole/pit), and left wolf baits w/ her for retaliation. just the usual way of bitches showing their love. anyway so she went to Saint’s room after escaping —covered in mud and all— straddle him on his sleep, had his balls on knife-point and threaten to castrate him if he ever pull a stunt like that again. but dw, by the end she settles on grooming his pubic (blonde) hair only. he lets her in fear of losing his dick. *not me grinning like an idiot the entirety of that scene*

stan a queen who can protect herself

1. Galen glowers, and it’s getting old. “Continue scowling like that and it might stick,” I taunt, sauntering toward him. I brush my fingers along his brow, smoothing the lines out, and he slaps my hand away. “It’d be a pity to ruin such a pretty face.” He glowers harder, and I laugh.
Man, it’s way too easy to wind Galen Lennox up.

2. Galen grabs my neck before Theo can shepherd me away. “Touch my dick again and I’ll chop off your tits and shove them down your filthy mouth.”
“Not before I castrate you and shove your dick up your ass!” I bite back.

3. “That means keep your mouth shut and let us do the talking,” Galen clarifies, and I shove my middle finger up at his back. “I know you’re flipping me off,” he adds.
“Only because it’s most people’s reaction to you,” I retort.
He glances over his shoulder, grinning. “You say that like it’s a bad thing.”

not that he’s my fav (haven’t decided one yet), but Galen and Harlow have the most flavor w/ the whole bantering. i know Saint’s supposedly the main guy, but their relationship felt flat to me in comparison to Galen-Harlow’s. (who tf names their kid Gal-lon btw?)

i did laughed once on this scene :

”Who was he?” I ask.
Saint prods his foot in the dead man’s side. “Luke McKenzie. A drug dealer and a pimp. Lately, he’d turned his hand to human trafficking.” Saint spits on him. “Fucking degenerate. He was snatching girls as young as five to order.”
I mash my boot into the dead guy’s crotch, kicking him a few times, hoping he feels it in hell. “I don’t feel so bad now,” I admit even though it’s still a fucked-up situation because the assholes are keeping the proof I committed murder, and no doubt, they intend to dangle it over my head to ensure I do their bidding.
“Asshole deserved it,” Caz says, unbuttoning his jeans.
Saint grins as he drops my hand and joins his buddies. I’m not sure what it says about me, but I watch with begrudging amusement as the four guys piss all over McKenzie’s dead body.

#1 prob : this is a RH but i felt like Harlow’s feeling for Saint was more than the others. and no no im not claiming that typa energy. for a rh book to work for me, imma need to feel equally for each and every one of the guys, and i sure as hell will need the heroine to do so even more

#2 prob : this book lacked on the romance department. there were just too many fucking scenes and not enough of them actually have emotional connection or at least sweet moments together (gotta be balanced out with every & each one of them. 1 on 1 tho). it’s the little things for me kay. it’s what i loved most from RH romances tbh. the attention / care / love she got from the guys, the fact that she got them all wrapped around her fingers by the balls. and am not talking bout only sexual stuff. that shit gets old, i couldn’t care less if yo dick get hard at the sight of her. the whole time i was like ‘just stop fucking for a sec and start talking or do some— ANY cute-couple-mundane-shit. just need the littlest gesture that’ll be able to made me tingle. however, if played right, this might be a start of a good slow burn (with sexual relationship first, then emotional came gradually). if not then…. no

#3 prob : there weren’t enough time our heroine spend alone w/ each one of the love interests (alone), and that affects me. i wasn’t given the chance to connect w/ any of ‘em personally. except maybe Saint, it’s clear she’s Harlow’s fav so he got lots of alone time. doesnt mean shit tho coz im still bitter ab the fact that SHE PLAYED FAVORITES, and hes vanilla anyway so hes my least fav. its only book 1 but i dun rlly wanna read the rest…

Harlow's life changed the night her father died. In that painful night, she meets the notorious "Sainthood" boys: Saint, Galen, Caz, and Theo. 💥💥💥
Broken, sad and betrayed, Harlow spends a VERY HOT night with them... 🔥
However, these guys are not done with her. They think she has something they want... And they will do whatever it takes to get it! 💣

Is it possible to break something that was already broken...? 😱
Harlow lived in hell for years and built impenetrable walls around her heart...
But with painful words and cruel games, these boys are dragging her into their dangerous world - a world full of secrets, lies and violence - cracking her walls and waking up something she didn't even know existed in her. Can saints become sinners...?! 🔥

📚 "𝐈 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐦𝐲𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐥-𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞.

So... in theory, this book had everything I love in bully books:
Strong female character. 💪
Alpha tattooed men. 🔥 (especially Saint!)
Dark story. 💣
Hot sex scenes. 💥
And of course, Siobhan Davis's amazing writing! 👑
Unfortunately, something in this book didn't work for me. Maybe it was the timing... maybe the reverse harem thing... maybe because of the exaggerated sex scene in the beginning of the story (which was totally hot, but still... exaggerated) - If you ask me, I think that scene happened too quickly in the plot. 😬

Still, I enjoyed the crazy ride! (I forgot how Siobhan likes to abuse us with wicked cliffhangers! lol) 😂😂😂

Heart-stopping, intense, and hotter than hell, Siobhan Davis once again delivers an intriguing story with twists and turns you won’t see coming! In Resurrection, the heroine is fierce and won’t be intimidated by four of the most brutal, yet incredibly beautiful men she’s ever encountered. She unravels their carefully constructed, villainous world all while waving her middle finger in their faces. I love her brilliant, brave sass! This story is dark, but incredibly delicious! I devoured it in one sitting and am salivating for more! Five VENGEANCE IS HOT stars!

Not for me at all. Every once in awhile I will try to read something out of my comfort zone, and Reverse Harems are ones I try to read just because they are so popular and sometimes the blurb actually sounds interesting, but so far, I just can't with this genre. Not trying to shame anyone who reads them, but I think one of the hardest parts for me, is that I feel as if they are only about sex and the plot ends up sucking super bad. It's like the only reason RH is a thing is to put more sex into the book or something. Also, I never end up liking all the guys, and I always still end up rooting for only one. Like this book, all the guys paled in comparison to Saint, he even gets possessive of her but, she likes the group sex more pretty much so she wants them all. But then she gets jealous when they're with other girls? I just feel like it is selfish to me.

Out of all the Reverse Harems I have read, i think I've only ever liked one, and that was because it was more plot than the romance. In this book, the plot was no bueno. This was like if the Dark Legacy series by Jaymin Eve and BOBH by Meagan Brandy had a baby, adding a little RH. Although both of those series were screaming wannabe RH anyways.

Pretty much everything that happened was overdramatic and sooo unrealistic. It was a cringe fest. The heroine especially. She reminded me exactly of the heroines in both of the series' I had just mentioned. The wannabe tough act by calling everyone names and acting like a guy in the sex department. I just couldn't with her. And the only guy I actually liked overall was Saint, maybe Caz a bit. I might even had upped the rating by a star if it was a MFM with just them three.

I feel like the main point of this book was just the group dynamic pretty much, which c'mon, wasn't even hot, and then the plot was just sprinkled around it. The writing was bland, and again, VERY over dramatic. The bully dynamic didn't really work in this either.

Overall, a total miss for me. And again, no offense to the people who like RH, but nothing about this book did anything for me.

I finished this book in 1.5 days because I was sick and my only thought was "what was going in the book" rather then when was the last Tylenol I took. The book starts with typical high school drama, hot males running the school, having influence over everything with an opposition gang to rival them and bullying the female. But what has the book highlighted is the authors perfect work on proper detailing of each characters and the story plot. This book is a dark reverse harem, bully romance. This is secret, suspense, revenge, mild humiliation, enemies to lovers themed

We have a heroine and four MC males.

Harlow Westbrook is one of the best heroine of creation. She is tall and sassy, sexy and mouthy. She can fight, she can shoot and handle four dominant males and that's not easy. After getting kidnapped at age 13, Harlow's father decides to teach her the necessities for survival, i.e. kill. A traumatized Harlow readily participates. When her father dies, she is in turmoil for the person who loved her and did everything to protect her. While she resurrects herself from pain to show the world, inside she holds her pain.

Saint Lennox is the leader of the group, The Sainthood. Saint is so cruel and dangerous. He is mean and insulting to Harlow, then again he can be possessive of Harlow.

Galen Lennox is the cousin and best friend of Saint. Galen hates Harlow the most among the group because of something in the past which is still not revealed. He has trust issues and maybe that is the reason he creats a havoc/disruption in the end.

Caz Evan is the easy going person in the group. He is playful and charmful and tries to cool down fights among the group.

Theo Smith is quiet and a mystery. He is the brains of the group, most of the times can be seen him tapping on his tab. Theo and Harlow dated in their early teen years. Something happened, Harlow needed him but he left. This mystery is still not revealed yet. He is the only person in the group trying to vouch and make things easier for Harlow when the boys found ways to torture/annoy Harlow.

Each of the guys have a history with Harlow. They are the right kind of male MC's we want - arrogant, dominant, brooding, annoying. Harlow and the guys start off with a big bang. The guys didn't know Harlow wasn't going to stay under their thumb. While everyone was scared of them Harlow was stronger. Each of them comes out dark, they have a reason to be what they are. At the beginning the guys are so cruel to Harlow but I was surprised that she wasn't the typical damsel in dirstress, or tried to stay away from the guys. She full on took them. The guys literally dump her in a dark hole to test how far she can withstand them. Harlow has a different relationship with guy. They are dangerous and she is hot.

"I'm no fucking princess. I'm the goddamn queen."

Harlow is one of my favourite heroine. She is damaged, abused and unrelenting. The guys are not far behind, each have their own dynamic. This book is so well done. I can't wait to know what happens next. If this is your read, I recommend this.

FIVE REVERSE HAREM STARS for Harlow, Saint, Galen, Caz and Theo 🔥🔥🔥!!!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Before you start reading Siobhan's books you should know one little thing...

Once you get into Siobhan's book world you'll become obsessed with her books.

Truly and forever.

I can without any doubt say that Siobhan is one of my favorite authors but also my favorite and number one for recommending.

"Rydeville Elite" was my first obsession written by Siobhan and I thought that her earlier books won't be good as this series.

But, I was wrong.

She surprised me again and that was with "The Kennedy Boys" series.

So, weeks ago I've got a newsletter that the new series by Siobhan is coming out on January 31st and it'll be a reverse harem.

To be honest, I was a little scared because I've never before read RH so I didn't know if it will be my cup of tea.

You know what?

I became the lover of RH books thanks to Siobhan.

And one more thing.

I think that this is the best book Siobhan has written so far (but I still love from the bottom of my heart both series).

I don't know how she does it or from where she gets all inspiration because her every new book is mind-blowing.

You could have a thousand theories and never guess how the book will end.

"Resurrection" is a reverse harem, dark high school bully romance with a lot of angst.

This book is hot, like really hot from the beginning.

I've never met the main female character as Harlow.

She left me without words.

She is a real badass and she doesn't have a problem to show everyone that she is not scared and she doesn't need a prince charming to save her.

Because she does it herself.

Saint is a dominant male character who will do anything to tame wild woman but then he'll learn he found someone who is equal to him.

Galen is a secretive and scary character that no matter how hard you try you'll never discover his deepest and darkest secrets.

Caz.

Oh, my dear Caz.

He reminded me a lot of Jackson from the "Rydeville Elite" series because he is a total party boy.

Theo is the silent character who is good with technology and he'll recover all your secrets.

The end absolutely surprised me.

I didn't expect a cliffhanger like that.

I love it and hate it at the same time.

But, I know with the second book "Rebbelion" from this series, Siobhan will make up for this misery she left me in.

If you're a fan of Siobhan's books and also love RH romance, then YOU MUST TO READ THIS BOOK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!

Highly recommended!!!

I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.

***5 "Princess & the Saints!!!" stars***

"War is coming to Lowell, and you don't want to find yourself on the wrong side."

Wow!!!! I'm still speechless of what i have read and even though my moral compass just broke with this book, i'm craving for more...
This was my first book by Siobhan Davis and my first reverse harem... And she nailed it for me!!!
I never could imagine myself to enjoy these kind of things, but hell.... Siobhan sold it to me very good...
This story was crazy as shit and unrealistic from many points, but hell... I loved every single moment!
This story was hard, cruel, twisted, steamy as hell and the pages were passing by so quickly...
I loved Harlow and the boys very much!!! Especially Saint who wasn't a saint at all!!!!

"I always thought it was a myth authors created to make readers believe in soulmate love.
I have zero desire to live in my own twisted romance novel."

Well, honestly, i don't know how much to tell you about this story....
The blurb of the book might help you to understand better...
Harlow was a very intriguing character and she was out for blood and to find the truth about... many things!!!
After a hot night with the Sainthood, her world is turning upside down, or wasn't that night that this had happened???
Now, these four are everywhere and they are not living her in her peace and own devices...
But even though she doesn't want to admit it, she's not unaffected from their possessiveness, their cruel actions toward her and their hot starings....
So what will happen after all???

"Careful, princess. Don't poke the beast unless you're prepared to play."

Well, there were happening too many shits in here to tell you...
Every chapter was a new ride to catch up all the messes around Harlow and the Boys...
There are too many secrets, lies and feelings standing between them...
Saint, Caz, Gallen and Theo are affecting her in many ways and she doesn't need these kind of complications in her life, but as much as she is fighting them, they are coming more closer to her for their own twisted reasons...
Will she manage to stick into her plan and keep her heart out of this mess???

"You can lie to yourself, angel, but we all know the truth... You're every bit as fucked up as we are. Maybe more so."

I will repeat myself that the reverse harem in not a genre that i have read before, but holy shit!!! These boys had stolen my heart!
Saint, Caz, Gallen and Theo are a strong unit and they are doing everything together...
Harlow is making them to break their rules and even though they're trying to stay away from her, they can't.
She is impressing them in every turn and that is a huge turn on for all of them...
Yep, i loved all four boys for different reasons, but my favorite is Saint...

"Why the hell does the bastard have to be so freaking hot? And why the hell is the first guy to ever evoke this type of visceral reaction in me?"

"They might think they can win me over, but I'm not like other girls.
I never give my heart away, and I sure as fuck won't start now."

What surprise me in here was Harlow and how of a badass she was!!!!
This girl had balls and she was proving it to us over and over again!!!
Also Harlow was a little bit as a guy disguised on a girl...
She was unapologically embracing her sexuality and i loved the way she was acting with her body...
I don't believe what I'm saying, but it was pure physical for her too and i think that was the reason, i wasn't bothering too much...
When the heart is involving the things are changing and I'm feeling a change to Harlow now...

"I don't need any guy to protect me. I'm more capable of defending myself. Come at me, and you'll find out the hard way."

"I'm afraid of getting hurt. I don't let guys in for a reason and these guys have the potential to cut me wide open and make me bleed. Especially, Saint because he has the ability to get inside me in a way no one ever has."

Well, honestly, i don't know what more to say than that i freakin' loved this book!!!!
Harlow and the boys are ingrained themselves inside of me and i can not wait more of them...
Especially that ending....
Can't wait for the next part!!!!

"We've got your back, princess. The question is, do you have ours?"

**** 4.5 Stars!!!!****

Wow! Now that’s the kind of story I like to read!! This book kept me thoroughly engaged from start to finish! Believe me, that isn’t easy to do currently! I find lately I have been having a hard time becoming fully engrossed in any books.. but I can honestly say this one held my interest! It’s the first time I have read anything from this author; but you can bet it won’t be the last!!

I must warn readers though, that this is not a lovey dovey romance story. This is dark, gritty, and it has a gang theme to it. Also, Harlow; who is one badass heroine, gets involved in a reverse harem relationship. So, if that isn’t your vibe, then definitely pass this one by! As for me, I have no idea why I go for this type of book, but I actually enjoy them! I have to be in the right mood, but I am liking this genre!

This book is a part of a trilogy, and it has ended with a huge cliffhanger!! I am greatful that all three books are out, so I’m diving into the next right away!!!! Can’t wait to see how things all play out!😬

This series will easily become my favorite high school RH. The junior and senior levels that create the Sainthood structure make the oft unbelievable mafia-esque high school storyline actually believable. It’s clear there is a lot of depth and layers to uncover, which is serving to keep my wandering mind firmly in the story. Our cast of characters, I love them all. Or in some cases, love to hate them!

Resurrection is similar to Cruel Intentions, also by Davis. So, if you enjoyed Cruel Intentions by Davis, you’ll enjoy Resurrection. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Rydeville Elite series, so I was a little apprehensive in accepting the ARC of Resurrection. I am happy to say that I enjoyed Resurrection much more than Cruel Intentions for one simple reason: Resurrection does not feature as much abuse as Cruel Intentions.

Resurrection has convinced me that bully romances are not for me, regardless of the author. I don’t find bully romances exciting or hot. Instead, they’re abusive in the worst ways possible and make me cringe. The best way to describe my like of these types of novels is that I was instantly more attracted to a tertiary character as a love interest than the four Davis set up.

As for the reverse harem aspect of the novel, I was slight disappointed. The only other reverse harem novel I’ve read was Surviving Amber Springs, also by Davis. While Surviving Amber Springs is a vastly different novel than Resurrection, I found that the relationship between the main character and the love interests didn’t resemble a relationship between multiple people, instead it came off as a regular relationship that just so happens to have a love interest who doesn’t mind sharing.

There’s a lot of subterfuge happening throughout the novel. There were a few moments I was confused as to what was happening because readers are left in the dark. The ending sequence doesn’t play out as smoothly as it could because of the gap in information between the characters and the reader.

The biggest criticism I have of Resurrection is the main character. She’s almost a carbon copy of the main character from Cruel Intentions. You could switch them out and not notice a difference. Both are damaged in some way, competent, delegated to lesser roles by the men around her, and abused.

Overall, Resurrection is a decent bully romance, but doesn’t lean into the reverse harem aspect as much as I would have liked. Will I be continuing with the series? No. I was hoping the reverse harem aspect would change my opinion of the bully romance genre, but instead it cemented my dislike.

I just finished Resurrection and man, I loved this one! I read Cruel Intentions years ago. And I always wanted to read more of Siobhan Davis' books. And I finally dove into the Sainthood series.

In Resurrection we follow Harlow. She recently lost her father. And soon figures out her boyfriend is cheating on her. She confronts him and runs away from him. She didn't love him, she just wanted to get away. She barges into the room where the Sainthood men are playing poker. She heard the rumors. Fuck one, fuck 'em all. She is more than ready to engage with them and has one hell of an encounter with them.

A month has passed. And the Sainthood men, Saint - Galen - Theo and Caz, send a video of the evening to her ex-boyfriend Darrow, which Darrow spread throughout the internet and at school.
Every person in their town knows about it.

And that is where the story kickstarts. The town is ruled by two gangs. The Sainthood and The Arrows. Harlow goes to school where the Arrows rule. But then Saint, Galen, Theo and Caz transfer there, take over the school and claim Harlow as their own.
Her mother starts to date Saint and Galen's father. And soon they move into her house as well.

I love the push and pull between all of them.
And this book isn't just about sex. It's also about the five of them carrying their past on their backs. We get clues here and there of what they carry. But not everything is shown in this novel.
I love how much Harlow's dad meant to her. And how much justice she wants for his dead.

I also enjoyed the complexity woven through the book. At times it felt a bit over the top, but I absolutely loved that. It fitted the story and the characters.
I loved how lethal they are. And that scene between Saint and Harlow, fan me please! So darn hot.

The book has a huge open ending, so I absolutely cannot wait to read the rest of this series!

5 huge stars from me!

This is a ridiculous story and I can't understand why it has such high ratings. Nothing quite makes sense in it, it's so over the top. And it opens with Harlow drinking and driving, which I did not appreciate. I don't know why so many high school RH focus on gangs and fighting and shooting and drugs. And this "bully" trope... I still don't understand why a woman would fall for someone who mistreated her. This is like an abused wife clinging to her abuser and refusing to leave him; it's rather sick.

The author tries for a pseudo-incest stepbrother and stepsister pairing, just that the stepbrother comes with a posse and they have a rule that they always share women, they don't sleep with women individually. These four guys are junior gang members of a much larger and powerful organisation, The Sainthood, and the leader of the group, Saint, is the son of the president of the organisation, Sinner (who comes up with these names???).

Right at the beginning the four have a gang bang with Harlow and they record the session without her knowledge, then send it to her ex, who puts it online, with the result that Harlow becomes notorious in the school. Harlow says they shared the file with her ex to needle him as he's in a rival gang, which they don't deny, and also said that they have enough technological know-how to have protected the file from being copied and distributed, which they also don't deny. It almost seemed like they wanted it to get out and they wanted to get at her in some way, but I didn't understand why, because at that point she hadn't done anything to them. The lack of motivation left a sour taste in my mouth because I can understand retaliation and revenge or wanting to teach someone a lesson, but I don't understand just doing something mean so carelessly for no good reason.

Perhaps the author wants us to see these guys as anti-heroes, but they really aren't. I understand anti-heroes, I understand rooting for the Bad Guy who deep down has a heart of gold or who does bad things for good reasons, all that kind of stuff. You can have a violent guy who flies off the handle and doesn't hesitate to take down anyone who crosses him, but who spares innocent children from the crossfire, for example. But these boys, I don't get their motivation. I'm just seeing that they have power and they know it, so they decide to be assholes just because they can. They enjoy having the power and defending it, defending their turf and making sure their operations (drug running) aren't jeopardised.

Saint, Galen, and Theo all separately have some kind of past with Harlow, but we don't know what it is. It's hinted at but not mentioned. Caz is the only one who doesn't have any past with her. Harlow's own past also is shrouded in a lot of mystery. The pivotal incident is her kidnapping when she was 13. She was held and tortured for five days until her father paid a $3mil ransom for her. When she was 16, she found out that it was The Sainthood who was behind it, and that Sinner, the current president, was one of those who tortured her and gave her some of the scars she now wears on her skin. You'd think that, knowing this, she'd stay away from the four boys, because after all, they are junior members of the organisation. But for some reason, she doesn't.

Then her dad dies and it turns out that Sinner was her mother's first love, and he insinuates himself back into her mother's life and they are getting married. He moves in with Harlow and her mum, bringing Saint and his posse with him. Sinner, it seems, can't forgive Harlow's mum for choosing her dad over him all those years ago and is taking it out on Harlow, or at least, that's what I think because it's never made very clear. Harlow is now all alone having to protect herself because the boys are giving her shit both at school and at home and Sinner is also breathing down her neck and her mother is useless. Oh, but fortunately she's a badass because her father hired some dude to train her in self-defense and shooting after the kidnapping, and she can take down grown men twice her size without any problem. Hrrmph. Riiiiiight.

Although I like strong heroines and I like when they're capable and badass, it isn't believable to me. Harlow runs around with a knife strapped to her leg and an unregistered gun and burner phones, acting like some kind of special ops operative, when she's only in her senior year of high school. She can get hold of undetectable cameras and install them in the boys' rooms to spy on them and try to ferret out their gang's secrets. She has a secret hideaway where she goes away to meet her lethal trainer -- you know, the one who has been training her in self-defense. Honestly the suspension of disbelief required is just too great. Might as well have made it a paranormal story and given her some super powers, too.

Wow. I don't even know where to begin.

This was trash. Pure trash. And I say that as someone who actually loves most trash. This was not the good kind of trash. It was revolting.
I'm not a sensitive person at all, I'm not worried about blood and violence, I don't have any triggers or anything. I live for horror movies and violent video games, I love reading about real life serial killers, and I enjoy a bunch of 'forbidden/taboo' things in fiction.

But this book was straight up disgusting.

First of all, why the fuck is this set in high school?! If these characters were in their twenties, I probably wouldn't be so bothered. The main chick is 17/18 and she is LITERALLY MURDERING PEOPLE. The "gang" casually brag about all the people they rape/torture/murder and they're fucking eighteen year old privileged white boys and all the other privileged white kids at their school who hear this stuff are like "haha, yeah that's cool, wanna fuck?!"

I spent most of this book making faces of disgust at everything I was reading.

This includes the "romance" portions. That shit wasn't romance. That was straight up gangbang porn and, yeah, abuse. What the fuck is up with the rise of bully romance? I don't understand it. It's not cute. It's not fun to read. I think it's revolting that this stuff is aimed at teenage girls, to be honest.

And the women in these books... Oh my god, the main female characters...
Is this supposed to be feminism or something? Allowing dudes to basically rape you while they call you things like slut and cunt, and often physically mutilating you at the same time? Hmm. Granted, I am not a feminist, but I don't think that's what people were going for when they were protesting for womens rights.
Is it supposed to be okay because the MC is a total ho and her "panties are drenched" at the mere sight of any man, and whenever they even so much as glare at her she gets super horny?

That's the thing. I hated Cecelia in The Ravenhood Duet and I hate Harlow in this even more. There is nothing inspiring about her character. She's supposed to have survived some shit and she's supposed to be this super secret badass warrior, but all of this is undone by the fact that she basically just wants to fuck every guy she sees at all times. And then there is the fact that she's always half-dressed or naked and trying to 'seduce' all these guys because she's so horny 100% of the time but the MOMENT a guy she isn't attracted to dares to look at her she starts spitting about how disgusting it is for men to look at women uninivited.

FUCKING LOL.

I hate this book.
I hate it and I'm disgusted I spent money on it.

I am judging every single person that gave this 5 stars. Y'all need Jesus.

The whole attitude between hard and conceited of the heroine did not work for me, it was like reading a teenager wanting to be an adult, but the only thing she achieved was to be annoying, and the 4 boys, for me all the same, I do not even remember their personalities, haha, the truth is I do not think I will continue reading the following books.

I am not a fan of revers harem especially cuz of most of the author’s writing which i didnt find appealing and also cuz there is no chemistry with all the guys and the heorine, only 1-2. But there are some reverse harem stories i loveee, like Ivy fox’s stories, she is one of my fav reverse harem author and now Siobhan Davis is added to the list. I kept reading so many good reviews about this book and finally give it a try and HOLY HELL! Wtf! Idk where to start cuz i loved this book. All the guys and Harlow are swoon worthy. There is chemistry between Harlow with all the guys and i love her so much. She is such a badass and never backs down from a fight. I admire her so much cuz she is so strong and knows how to put someone on their place, she aint scared of the Sainthood. They wanted to intimidate her but their plan back fired, she is the one who ends up intimidating them 😤😌.

The story starts showing that Harlow’s dad died and she is drunk, she wants sex to feel something so she goes to her boyfriend Darrow who is a public school guy, from the other side. She goes to a party where she learns that Darrow has been cheating on her, but she aint heartbroken or shit. Rather she ends up having sex with four guys. The Sainthood. Galen, Saint, Caz and Theo. They are thugs who kill people, handle weapons and drugs, everyone is scared of them but not Harlow. She didnt know there was a video camera in the room while she was having sex with the guys, and that vdo ends up going viral and she is kicked out of her private school. She has no choice but go to the public school her Ex boyfring Darrow attends and the same day, The sainthood guys joins and takes over the campus. They also somehow moves to her house and her mom welcomes them with open hands. Whole thing turns into a shit show with them trying to torture her and she never backing down.

Ugh, i seriously cant get over this. Resurrection reminded me of Cruel Intentions by the same author a lot but Resurrection is so much better. Harlow is one of the strongest heorine i ever read about. I loved the guys, especially Saint who shares a strong connection with our heorine. He is a tatted bad boy and the leader of their group, one the other hand there is Galen who hates Harlow from the core of his heart. I really liked their banter, whenever Harlow and Galen argued, Caz swooped in and acted like he is their parent and they both are siblings who hate each other cant stop fighting. Caz reminded me of Jackson from Cruel Intentions a lot too, he gets hard whenever he sees Harlow and they share a especial bond. Theo on the other hand is the quiet one, he is smart but i didnt like his character that much cuz he is so calm while his brothers are all going around killing people. I couldn’t understand Theo that much, or what his character is like.

I didnt think i would end up loving this book, Harlow is one of my fav heroines now, ugh i love her literally. The cliff hanger 🥵🥵 holy shit. I have to read the second book asap cuz the whole Sainthood is about to end with a shitshow.

I was so excited to read this and I can certainly say that this was so different from your usual dark reads.
We have a strong heroine, a company of men that will have you guessing and action!!! There is spice, gritty goodness and hate to love goodness.
I enjoyed the book even though I had some issues with the characters. They didn't read like teenagers still in school. They read much older, especially the heroine. I always have this issue with books with this theme.
I have some doubts about the *reverse harem(?)* trope. I barely felt real connection between the characters but I hope that will change in the second book which I am excited to read.
Overall, this was a unique, entertaining read.

What’s this book about? (I'm trying to give as little spoilers as possible)
This is a reverse harem dark romance novel. Enemies to lovers. Bully themes. Suitable for 18+.

This is my first Siobhan Davis read, preparing for the final book of this trilogy! What a read this was. It starts out with a bang; quite literally. Resurrection is a fast-paced, steamy and entertaining story of a girl that’s a survivor. Harlow doesn’t back down. She spits feminist facts. She owns her sexuality and I stan that so hard. She was the jewel of this story. I rooted for her to get to the bottom of the mystery that lurked around in the pages. Her friend group’s interactions were adorable. Her counterparts are mischievous bad boys with big reputations amongst other things… I loved their chemistry with Harlow. It was all steamy AF. The recurring drama was incredibly well situated and it left me wanting for more! I can’t wait to pick up the next books and find out what exactly is going on with these characters.
I recommend this to lovers of the dark romance type of steam, reverse harem and strong heroines that preach them facts on boys that need a lil trim (off their egos amongst other things *cough* *cough*).

⭐️ 5 "Saintly" Stars ⭐️
I was prepared for a wild ride with Resurrection, but still anxious over the fact it was my first reverse harem read. As I absolutely loved the Rydeville High Elite Series, I knew The Sainthood - Boys of Lowell High Series would give me a similar rush and I wasn’t wrong! The unforeseen twists and the drool-worthy guys gave my heart palpitations and kept me invested in this novel! Siobhan Davis effortlessly had me hooked from the beginning on this new seductively dark universe.

Harlow isn’t your typical heroine and that’s one of the reasons why I enjoyed her. She’s badass and doesn’t care about appearances, making her own rules! The fact she’s promiscuous and own her sexuality is also refreshing coming from a feminine protagonist. While she shows this very strong front, she keeps her feelings locked up so far inside. I was really intrigued about the turning event of her past that made her unfeeling and couldn’t stop reading to get answers. Her relationship with the guys of The Sainthood starts off insanely hot and intense to say the least. That first scenes between them all is so filthy and explosive! After this night of guilty pleasure though, they start a rivalry with games of manipulation and tempting lust!

Saint, Galen, Caz and Theo each have a certain appeal and share a carnal chemistry with Harlow. It was difficult to decide which one was more fitting for her as I just enjoyed their different personalities. Saint is the leader and dominant one. Always acting hot and cold toward Harlow, but also sharing a sizzling connection with the girl. The moments where he shows a possessiveness over her had me swooning. His hard exterior is cracking in these scenes and make him more loveable. Galen is the angry one and without a doubt the most difficult to read. Caz is the funny one, laid back and ready to party. I liked him a lot. And there’s Theo, the geeky and secretive boy with a mysterious past linked to Harlow. As I said, they’re so disparate but have the same darkness inside.

I couldn’t help but be wholly enthralled by this world of dangerous gangs connected with all the secrets surrounding Harlow’s past. I was utterly gripped by this read and startled more than once by the turn of events. That cliffhanger ending have me wanting to get my hands on the sequel so freaking much! I so wasn’t expecting that conclusion. Siobhan Davis is truly a master at creating adrenaline inducing read that keep me wanting more and Rebellion can’t release soon enough!

Holy suspense and hotness Batman!!!

Harlow was consumed by her grief the night she fell in with The Sainthood. They never give without taking. Now she’s on their radar and they are ready to exact payment.

Harlow has her own agenda. Her father is gone, but she knows it was no accident. Getting close to Saint, Caz, Galen, and Theo may just get her the answers she needs or it could get her killed.

It’s a tangled web of lies and deceit. Rival gangs are going head to head fighting for control. Her mother has lost her mind and is sleeping with the enemy. Her best friend is fighting for her life. She has no idea who to trust. Harlow had a plan and she never intended her loyalty to land where it has.

The boys become her lifeline, until the ultimate betrayal.

I am HOOKED on The Sainthood. Totally binge worthy. My favorite two things; sizzling hot chemistry and so many twists I can’t predict what’s next. Harlow is a survivor and she’s a warrior. I just love a strong heroine who never backs down and can go head to head with the enemy. I have no idea where the story is headed, but I cannot wait to get there.
