From the cover, this looks like one of those cute 6" x 6'" photo books that you could buy at a Hallmark gift shop. I picked it up at a book store, and I am glad that I did. It was cute, it was sentimental, this ode to mothers and motherhood. What struck me is how clever the author, Bradley Trevor Greive matches his thoughts and quips to some excellent photography. He does make you laugh and in the end, drives home the point of the meaning and power of motherhood. It is the kind of book that has you immediately searching for the authors other works.
