Safe Havens: Dodos!

Rate this book
The dodos figured prominently in the events of 2014, much to their creator’s chagrin. When Samantha revived an extinct species by transforming a hen and a rooster into dodos, she didn’t know that she was assuming responsibility for individuals lacking any sense of morals, ethics or self-restraint. During this year alone, they put Samantha in the crosshairs of two hunters, let loose pollen that transformed humans into flowers, embezzled millions in state funds and left a trail of disaster stretching through Stanford, Las Vegas and Barcelona. In addition to those headaches, Samantha also had to deal with merfolk mistaking her for a princess, a miniature blue whale that didn’t stay miniature and her cat Palmtop leaving her for another companion. Her husband Dave tried out for the U.S. Olympic team, and she finally handed off the responsibility of being the dorm’s resident advisor. Oh, yes. She was also planning mankind’s first mission to Mars.
