The book of Numbers tells of Israel’s wilderness wandering. Doubt in God’s provision and Moses’ leadership took its toll, turning a trip that should have lasted just a few weeks into a four-decade debacle. But despite the failures of their parents, a new generation of God’s people arrived at Jordan’s eastern bank, ready to face the challenges of the Promised Land. Through many dangers, toils, and snares, Israel grew up.
