This advantage gives patients the opportunity to self schedule and receive care in their hospital room, local clinic and/or living room at home. In this book Dr. Rosenberg discusses the evolving healthcare technology to have a patient centred experience. Accessible healthcare is one of the major issues that every nation has been trying to tackle. With the invention and creation of new technology day by day we are getting closer to accessible healthcare. I saw an episode on a Disney show about having a mobile clinic in hard-to-reach areas, only to find out from this book that it is closer to reality. I think it's an advancement for the previous practices of Doctors without Borders. I believe that due to the COVID 19 pandemic more and more health practitioners have been trying to innovate the way healthcare should be, which is great news not to consumers but to patients. Patient care is most important for recovery and this book gives us so much hope.

Overall, the book was a good overview of the current fears and challenges within the medical field in the time of rapid (and largely unregulated) advances in the world of artificial intelligence. Unfortunately, as is inevitable with the current pace of technology, before it’s publication date, the book is already somewhat outdated, as AI systems (for example ChatGPT) are already working their way into medicine, both to the benefit and sometimes harm of providers and patients.
