Truth Left Behind: Exposing End-Time Errors about the Rapture and the Antichrist

Rate this book
The rap on the Rapture! The popular Left Behind series depicting the rapture of the Church and the rise of Antichrist has captured the imaginations of millions. This gripping, but fictional, story dramatizes a widely accepted view of Revelation's mysterious prophecies, and how earth's last days might be fulfilled. But could these bestsellers about missing people also be missing important Bible truths?

Truth Left Behind, by Steve Wohlberg, has a clear purpose: to take a closer look at what the Bible really says about the Rapture, the Tribulation, The Antichrist and his deadly mark (Revelation 14:9, 14). What's true about The Rapture? What's false? According to the author, when it comes to understanding God's truth, we cannot afford to be "left behind"!

For the most part I liked this book except where he goes to what he says is the mark of the beast. He says the mark is the mandating of Sunday as a day off in the place of the sabbath. Those who accept it have accepted the mark and Christians who don't and keep the commandments, especially the sabbath have the mark of God. The author is SDA and I know they put a lot into the sabbath. Never heard this interpretation of the mark before. I give it 4 stars.

A little book that helps to keep things in perspective by dissecting the themes running through the fictional 'Left Behind' series and analysing them against biblical scripture, highlighting some discrepancies and misinformation.

This book was great! He broke it down for those of us who didn't understand certain things in the bible.
