The General's Title

The General’s Title is a fictional novel about a young man born in the Joseon Era. He is an illegitimate son of a noble family and desires to find his self-worth in the title of a general in the king’s army. He hopes to gain his grandfather’s acceptance, his father’s recognition, and to bring his mother out of her shame. He gives more worth to the title and the king who can bestow it on him than he does to his family, closest supporters, and loved ones. He has sacrificed his family and friends to obtain this title only to find out that they have sacrificed everything to protect him, his worth, and his existence.
