This book was an interesting read. Very heavy, very very graphic and descriptive, so take that in mind before diving into it. Even though we don’t know for sure if the diary is real or not, if it really belonged to Jack the Ripper, and after reading this book I still don’t know what’s my opinion in that matter, it was still interesting to get to know this case better.

Apesar de não sabermos ao certo se o diário é real ou não, se realmente pertenceu ao Jack the Ripper, e depois de o ter lido ainda não tenho uma opinião acerca do assunto, não deixou de ser interessante ficar a conhecer melhor este caso.

This is not a book about the person recently identified as the actual Jack the Ripper. Nonetheless, it is a good read. Lots of references to other serial killers and the science behind the research to confirm its validity. Pictures of the crime scenes and other included photos are interesting if you're a Jack the Ripper enthusiast.

I was very invested in this book and it’s theories. That was until I found out the author admitted the diary was a forgery…no longer as interesting. 🤣 The writing is very good though and very gripping.

Basically had to stop reading after his death because 1. I found out the diary wasn’t real and 2. The language from the POV of the killer was super disturbing and horrible. It made me very uncomfortable.

If indeed the diary was fake, whoever wrote it needs serious help 😅😅
