I haven't read the original "Animal Farms" by George Orwell. Translation is perfect i don't even feel like i'm reading a translated novel. The story is a fascinating and surprised me bit by bit till the end. A real good read.
I thought about reading the original version after this before picking this one up, but this translation was so beautifully done that i don't even feel the need to read the original anymore. (Although... maybe I'll still give it a try someday.)
This was so well-written! Despite being translated into Burmese, it has its own way of storytelling that makes it feel so natural. I especially loved how the character names were adapted into Burmese ones, and even the title is completely different from the English version, yet it still captures the message and essence of what the story is trying to unfold! It was such an important read, and I genuinely think everyone should read it at least once in their lifetime.
One of the greatest novel i have ever read. I would recommend for those who want to learn more about equality, basic principles of democracy, the nature of political power and why we need to understand the politics.
