a "how to" book…which makes it different from most other children's books that I read.
I like that it is divided into appropriate sections by age, including listing the equipment needed at each stage.
this might be a fun way to introduce a child to some new recipes and having fun in the kitchen. the sense of accomplishment when the dish is prepared should make this all worthwhile.
