The Last Plantation is another of those sprawling antebellum sagas that I love to sink into. It's not Gone with the Wind, but it is a fairly engaging read and I enjoyed the time I spent on the Plantation.

This book is about county of Gallatin, Tennessee during the Civil War. It is based on real people and real plantations is just wonderful.

I loved this book and found it hard to put down once I had started it.

Out of all the books this is my favorite. It is based on true events starting before the Civil War and go forward.If you enjoy American history with some romance thrown in this is a must read
