I have to say that the ENTIRE clan novel series was very well done. It acurately portrays each clan, indeed each individual's reaction to the coming of Gehenna, and how each faction reacts to the other in times of war, deceit, and betrayal.

Having now made it through the whole series, I'd say I liked them quite well. The books are quick, filled with complex characters, and entertaining. I enjoyed the anthology for its collection of snippets about characters given slightly less description or POV through the rest of the series. If you like vampire books with lots of characters to keep track of that is set in a fairly complex world, I'd say these ones are for you.

An interesting collection of short stories. It is a real shame that the producers of the short-lived TV series didn't follow the source material more closely (or even better, get these guys to write for them).
