Tony Salvador Daniel is a comic book author and illustrator. He is sometimes credited with is full name as Antonio Salvador Daniel.

Tony S. Daniel decided to become a comic book artist in the 4th grade and has never looked back. He made his professional comics debut in 1993 on Comico's The Elementals and went on to illustrate X-Force for Marvel Comics and Spawn: Bloodfeud for Image Comics as well as writing and illustrating several creator-owned titles of his own: Silke, The Tenth, Adrenalynn and F5 — the last two of which led him, for a time, into the alternate reality known as Hollywood.

After being lured back into comics in 2005 to work with writer Geoff Johns on TEEN TITANS for DC Comics, Daniel landed his dream job in 2007 penciling the adventures of DC's Dark Knight Detective in BATMAN where he first collaborated with writer Grant Morrison and then went on to write and draw the book himself. In 2011 he re-launched DETECTIVE COMICS for DC’s New 52, writing and drawing most of the first year of the historic series. In 2012 Daniel moved from one icon to another when he began illustrating the adventures of Superman in ACTION COMICS.

This is a collection of four volumes that goes as

I enjoyed this run for the majority especially the first two volumes were absolutely fantastic but as this is a current issue I have with comics they decline in quality by the end, as though they really don't know where they are taking the story, by half way through suicide run the plot had just disappeared, I only stayed for Slade since he is a character I deeply enjoy.

Gotta admit the art and story of Tony S. Daniel is amazing especially their drawings *chef's kiss*

Shoot 'em up thrill ride shoehorning tons of guest stars. Slade fights them all... Wonder Woman, Superman, Red Hood, Batman and Ra's al Ghul to name drop a few. Art is beautiful and stories are decent, they range from saving his kids to saving his kids. In summary... Art + Action = Yes Please.

Deathstroke is a cool hitman, almost invulnerable, that is pretty cool to see but also makes it not very interesting. This omnibus starts of with a blast, fast paced, funny and with lots of (over the top) action. In almost every other issue he meets a hero or villain. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Suicide Squad , almost every body from the DCU, the story is not very special, and even very cliche at times. This is a fun read but nothing special. The artwork by Daniel himself is good, and the action scenes are well done, but overkill at times, there is almost no time for a slow moment or a bit of character development.

This was the perfect example of some artists not needing to write…like ever. This was my first time reading anything by Tony, while his art is gorgeous…his writing is campy and childish. The story started out kind of intriguing but then went downhill towards the middle of the run. It seemed as if Tony just wanted to throw in as many DC universe characters because he likes drawing them but not because they had any purpose to begin with.

Deathstroke, the character itself intrigues me but thus far, has been dreadful to read. Both Christopher Priest and Tony haven’t provoked any deep character building to the subject.

I’ll give the character a rest until a more renowned writer takes the reigns. Until then, we just have a pool of mediocrity.

First and foremost, Tony Daniel does some amazing work here. Doing double duty as writer and artist is a daunting task. He did extremely well. His art was the standout of the book. Some glorious panels. Story wise I really had fun with the first two arcs. The final third of the book was a real letdown though as Tony Daniel wasn't apart of it (strange considering the title of the collection). The book had some highs and lows but overall this was enjoyable especially the Godkiller storyline.
