I also just finished "Taveuni, Home to the Tarte Family" Compiled by Daryl Tarte and spent an afternoon speaking to he and Jacqie about Taveuni and the plantation where they grew up. Jane and I are spending Thanksgiving at Paradise Resort on Taveuni on the southern part of the island where the Tarte plantation once flourished. I would rate the Taveuni book five star.

it was nice to get different opinions from people who live in fiji and see the change happening.

The book started off really well. I really liked the description of Tarte's Fiji pre-cession. However the content post deed of session all feels quite rushed. It is worth reading if you are interested in Fiji as there are so few fictional books around set in the country.
