With thousands of parallel worlds to keep in line, an Agent's job is important, not to mention dangerous. But look out, Space City! Boo is about to become the Agents' newest recruit! Sure, she's small, and she does scare easily. But with a little luck, a lot of courage, and a grumpy cat named Pumpkin on her side, Agent Boo will learn that sometimes it's good to be the littlest!
Alex de Campi is a New York-based writer with an extensive backlist of critically-acclaimed graphic novels including Eisner-nominated heist noir Bad Girls (Simon & Schuster) and Twisted Romance (Image Comics). Her most recent book was her debut prose novel The Scottish Boy (Unbound). She lives with her daughter, their cat, and a Deafblind pit bull named Tango.
As the youngest and smallest, it comes as a surprise to everyone when Boo is picked to be become an Agent. Does she have what it takes to be a fully fledged Agent?
Part novel and part graphic novel, there are some amazing illustrations that just bring the story and characters to life! I have to say Boo is an absolutely precious girl, who sees the best in everyone and has insecurities of her own. Pumpkin, her companion, believes in her 100% and is ever so wise. A light read that is so much fun, with many hilarious moments!
Side note: Commissar Noir is quite a polite and respectable villain, which is hilarious all things considered.
Boo is a tiny student in 4th grade and can't believe that she is picked to be an agent. That is an honor that normally goes to SR students. She does prove that she will be worthy.
