An annual conference at the iconic Grand Hotel turns tragic when Vince Walker, a preeminent automotive consultant, witnesses a brutal murder-only to realize the victim was a close friend. While on the run after being framed for the killing, he must uncover a conspiracy of corporate embezzlement and systematic killings to save his own life as well as hundreds of others. With time running out and new threats to his family, Vince and his wife must work together to search for answers-a task made more difficult by their already stressed relationship. Can they put their differences aside and save their lives and their marriage? The Grand Secret is a vivid portrayal depicting how greed and corporate politics can lead people to do the unimaginable.
This book has a lot of potential. I really enjoyed the storyline. But you can tell that it was self published and probably without an editor. When I first started reading I was going to give 4 stars but the closer to the end of the book the worse the writing got. Overall a good book from a home state author.
