The fact that the author wrote the first draft of this book as a NaNoWriMo participant gets the thumbs up from me even before I read it. Also that he sent me a tweet saying he hoped I enjoyed the book when I tweeted about my copy arriving the mail was another tick.

Now most of my friends know that I love young adult fiction and I loved how this was YA about young Adults in their early/mid twenties. It felt even more relatable.
I loved the main characters especially Jake - characters in novels that ride scooters are awesome.
The kind of novel that can be read in one or two sittings. It left me with a smile on my face and kind of wishing there was a follow up

The story was very good with a good plot twist. It is written by a Christian man and the Christian theme is woven through the whole book.
The main girl is Mexican and runs a nonprofit for girls who want to get away from prostitution. (it is not a big part of the book, I just wanted to mention it.)
I enjoyed it and it was written well! I reccomend!
