Fire- I was actually surpised at the depth of the writing. Odd way of thinking, but I got the impression the characters were werewolves in human form. It was very fast pace, I think it would have been much better slowed down with some better character and event details.

Sophie Peeks- The little sizzle extra was very good! So very relatable to real life. I really enjoyed it!

I will be looking into more from Jolene Kendry!

2 short stories of women who will not be afraid of their sexuality.

In Fire, a young woman's time has come to be sexually initiated into her tribe. She has been told nothing but horror stories but choses not to be afraid. I like how she choses how she will react to her introduction to sex. She conquers her fears and rejoices in her sexuality.

In Sophie Peeks, a woman's marriage is boring and does not give her the things she needs. She has discovered the neighbors and their sex life. She goes to her special room to watch them. Her husband discovers her and her voyeurism and joins her. I like that Sophie did not surrender to the lack of sex in her marriage. When her husband finds her watching the neighbors he joins in. I could feel the hope she had that things would get back to the way they were.

Two different approaches to revelling in their sexuality.
