The story is a quick fun read with the king and Eden's story being highly related to the The'Ran being extinct. I like how the story play out with a little bit of history and the cause of the decease the Ceyan people are experiencing. I like Eden's character very much but the king just didn't click with me. The story has a good world building and all the characters in the story are all special in a way with a well thought out plot.

This book has some very interesting with intriguing senarios and customs. I found the customs and practices of the particular races in the book to be amazing and quite different from anything that I had read before.I found the story well developed as well as the characters. I found myself drawn to all of the characters in the story and looked foward to completing the book. I am not really sure why I feel compelled to only give it 3 stars. There was just something about the story that keeps me from given it higher, Maybe it was the lack of intensity and intrigue throughout the entire book. It wasn't really a story that draws you into its depth and captures you until your finished. It was however a nice well thoughtout story that was a fast read.

This book had a lot of facets that I enjoyed. It was a mythical, fantasy read that really held my attention. I like the way the background and history was inserted into the story not just at the beginning but throughout the book. The connections in the book between the characters were wonderful and well thought out. Nothing in the book really left you wondering about how it came to be. This book was delightful, vivid and totally engaging. I would definitely recommend

Unfortunately, I felt that all four romances were weak. I wasn't able to connect with any of the characters. I skimmed most of the sex scenes. I continued reading to see why the king was the way he was and what was the cause of the illness afflicting their people.
