Sorry, but I did not like this book - I found all the characters irritating. The writing is lively though - maybe with different subject matter, I might have enjoyed it, so I'll read another one and see if I like it more.

This is the second book I’ve read of this author. Quite an interesting concept and I liked how each chapter alternates between him and her. I was disappointed with the ending, as I feel despite the big days and revelations they’ve both had that he hasn’t changed anyway.
It was ok and a easy read just didn’t personally agree with each characters morals!

his book is based around a few days which is unusual for most books l read as they are spaced out over days or weeks. Because of this you get to know the characters, Nell, Alexander and Kate quite quickly. In this book people are brought together, but for these relationships to continue other relationships will have to be broken. This book is about responsibility, love and realisation.

This book is a hard one to review because l can't say l loved it as l didn't, it took me a while to get into it but as the book goes on the characters start to form more strongly and the book does become better.

I had a hard time getting into the first few pages of this book, but then became thoroughly engrossed in the story set within such a brief span of time. The author did a good job with all the characters, even one who had died. but especially the main ones, Lucy, Nell, Alexander and Kate. The big What Ifs are realistically explored and the reader is left with a comfortable feeling they'll manage well after the end of the book.

It must be more than ten years since I read this, and I still remember aspects of it, especially its atmosphere and the sense that life can change as a result of a small random decision coinciding with one big catastrophe.

It's not a Classic, but it must have something about it that it has stayed in my consciousness for so long!

This book was different but easy to get into. I couldn't wait to see what happened. Great read!
