Anne Ashby grew up in a very small coastal town in Southland, New Zealand. An eagerness to see the world led her to join the Royal NZ Navy where she enjoyed a very satisfying career. She has travelled extensively and lived in Singapore and Maryland, USA. When not reading or writing, Anne enjoys hanging out with her family and old Navy friends. She promises herself that one day she’ll catalogue all her genealogy research. She and her husband live in Auckland with children and grandchildren close by.

I always enjoy a book written by author Anne Ashby! If you are looking to leave your world behind and enter a great romance novel, then her books are always a great choice! Worlds Apart is a great book full of misunderstandings, forgiveness, and learning to let yourself love. I loved Raven and Greg's characters! Raven is spunky and will not allow her family to be judged wrongly. Greg wants to protect his father at all costs. The sparks fly between the two of them even though they are so different and each hiding something from the other. Will Raven and Greg have the courage to come clean and admit to their true feelings? You can cut the sensual tension in this book with a knife, so watch out, there is a whole lot of sizzle in this one! Five stars for a great sensual romance novel!

I received this book for free. This is my honest review.

A very humorous look at a misunderstanding. The hero believes his young New Zealand visitor is engaged to marry his father. This author kept me on tenderhooks all through the story as I waited for the developments which would lead to the happy ending. Being a New Zealander, I found it extremely interesting to read about the different angles and customs between US and New Zealand. To a New Zealander these things were so straightforward and simple but they caused confusion and misunderstanding throughout the story. Also very interesting to see how many spelling differences exist in our written language.
I would highly recommend this story to anyone wanting a good, lighthearted read and eagerly look forward to further works by this author

I wanted to read a fantastic New Zealand / American romance and with World's Apart this is what I got, I couldn't put the book down, once I started to read it, I finished it at midnight the same night, because I enjoyed it so much that I couldn't wait till the next morning to see how it finished. The diversity of the two different cultures between the two main charaters made the book even more interesting. I would really recommend this book to those of you who love a great romance and who like to travel as World's Apart takes you from America to New Zealand. loved it!!!!

Anne Ashby has a way of drawing me into her stories quickly and keeping hooked till the very last word. I loved how Ms. Ashby added details of how things are different in the US compared to New Zealand. It is fun to see the differences. I remember when I moved overseas and how things can be very different. I also enjoyed how Raven was going to teach Greg a lesson. I enjoyed watching her do that. I also found that Anne threw in a few surprises I was not expecting. This is a delightful read that I am still thinking about over a month later.

WORLDS APART is a beautiful romance story. All of the characters are brought to vivid life for the reader and enables them to cheer for them, roll their eyes at them and even yell at them. I found the story flowed and before I knew it I was on the last page. Anne Ashby provide touching romance that will whet the appetite and quench the thirst.
