One thing you’ll really like about this story is Ms. Matthews does a great job diving straight into the action. In this case it’s the hero Reese and a co-worker watching Koko pleasure herself in the elevator. It’s hot, sexy and you wonder where the story’s heading.
Koko is a fun character and I liked the way she was portrayed as a devil may care type girl, who is thrown for a loop when she thinks Reese is going to turn her over to the police. Another thing I liked about this story was that Reese didn’t initiate sex with Koko until she wanted him to. I thought at first he might blackmail her into doing that but not this guy. Going Up was all about just watching her pleasure herself which I think added to the sexiness of the story and upped the sexual tension too.
Reese is all business at the beginning of the story and then turns into a bit of a romantic when he’s with Koko. The dialogue was great and I liked the pacing of this story too. It didn’t stop from page one till the final word and I was able to read it in one sitting.
If you’re looking for a hot story on a cold winter’s night I can recommend Going Up.

Highly erotic with some emotional elements, Lena Matthews' Going Up set the pages aflame while leaving readers a bit unsurprised with the outcome of the story.
Koko enjoys her elevator "rides" and Reese enjoys watching them just as much which ultimately helps them connect together in the sex department when they get together for a private ride. The sex was explosive, but the emotional components introduced in the story did not seem to fit with the overall feel of the story. Koko and Reese's mutual lust somehow transitioned beyond the physical and into deeper emotions which made the story a bit unrealistic and too fast for the storyline but the story was nonetheless enjoyable for readers who prefer a love story instead of an affair between characters.
All-in-all Going Up was an interesting, erotic story that includes elevator fetishes, voyeurism, interracial sex, and a little bit of love thrown in for good measure. The story itself was enjoyable and steamy enough to have readers wanting to find their own elevator to "ride," but readers should keep in mind that this story was more of a novella in length and feel.

A mis-step for Ms. Matthews whose work I generally enjoy. This one left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. The lead character Koko Brown who likes to masturbate in elevators, preferably while others are on it. She does is discreetly so the people on the elevator are not aware of what she is doing.
Unbeknownst to her the elevators in the building where she likes to do her business the best are under surveillance by security cameras. The group of guards who monitor the cameras knows what she is doing and likes to watch the show. One in particulare is Reese DeSoto, who decides he is tired of watching and wants to participate.
This is a short story and it is erotica. However Koko's fetish simply didn't work for me. And I thought she and Reese jumped from lust to something more in an unconvincing nanosecond.

what i liked: the adventurous story line.
what i didn't like: that there was no story. also, that the friend/partner went absolutely insane about koko being caught and then flipped the switch back and apologized later. i didn't see the point of it.

Hot! Hot! Hot!
I loved this story it was such a hot, sexy some drama and a few funny moments thrown in from start to finish read. I loved the characters, supporting characters and the chemistry which made this story all come together . Very well written and edited.

Jesus loved this, so fricking hot. I love the fact that Koko is proud of her kink and not ashamed of it. And honestly I want to take a ride in that elevator.

Okay...so, Koko is a kinky person, ehm, actually I didn't like this side of her. But, I liked the rest of her. And I super liked Reese.
