Whether or not you considered yourself much of a fan of these guys, this book is surprisingly informative and gives a very detailed account of the band's story, right from its earliest roots to their major-selling album, American Idiot. I was always more of a Blink 182 kid myself, but I still liked Green Day enough to pick this book up back in 2003 and read it from cover to cover.

Very informative, athough it doesn't say too much about individual days of their lives. And there's not much on Woodstock. Or Mudstock as the case may be. And they don't talk about Tre's unicycle accident. Hehe. I like the pictures most. The last color picture is funny. Billie needs to work off that back fat. Hehe.
