At first the Vice Lords seemed laughably corny, but the way of living in a gang seems so brutal and violent for the most part. It's pretty depressing to think that the poverty these people lived in led them to that lifestyle and still exists today.

The fact that they chant a poem before fights is pretty cool. They were pretty fashionable too. If I was in a gang, I'd dress like a jazz musician too.
