Falling for my billionaire silverfox bosshole was so not in my plan.
I know I’ve got what it takes to build a successful career in publishing. Too bad my boss Leo won’t listen to anything I have to say.
So, guess who’s going to be stuck with Mr. Alpha at a conference? My luck gets even worse when my boyfriend dumps me.
Ready to forget it all, I find myself venting to Leo, who is surprisingly kind. Before we know it, heat and desire flood my veins and my lacy panties go flying.
He’s one fine specimen…and his luscious lips send shivers to my core. I promise myself it’s a one-time thing. But I can’t erase how his body makes mine sing.
I thought maybe Leo and I could work. Until he shows up at my dad’s party, with his ex… and his son.
As if that wasn’t enough, it turns out he’s close friends with my dad. Now, the real trouble begins…
Hello! I write contemporary romances that are a sizzling blend of passion sprinkled with an "enemies to lovers" spice, irresistible alpha men, and a guarantee of a happy ever after.
My stories are crafted with an intent to transport readers away from the humdrum of daily life and into a realm of romance... where peace ensues and a mini-escape is just a page away.
I hope that my stories have the power to make you forget the world, even if just for a short while. Read at your own risk. Your heart might just skip a beat or two.
Bossy Silverfox features Magdalena (Maggie) Jones, the newest employee at Wrought Iron Publishing. She's bright and sassy, and is one of a kind. She's supposed to go to a weekend publishing conference with her colleague Nora, but when Nora can't make it, their boss Leo Cacciatore quickly grabs the free spot. Maggie is less than thrilled to be forced to share the weekend with this man who she perceives as a pompous, misogynistic jerk, even if he is a treat for the eyes. After sharing a few drinks at the hotel bar, Maggie ends up kissing Leo, and then finds her way into his room, and his bed.
Age gap romance is not usually my go-to, but I have absolutely no regrets about reading this book. I found the writing to be absolutely delightful. There was so much humour in Wilde's book; I frequently found myself sharing passages with friends and family because I was laughing out loud. The story was well developed and I remained thoroughly engaged from the first page to the last. At times I wanted to be Maggie, and at others I wanted a Leo of my own.
I definitely recommend Bossy Silverfox, and I look forward to checking out Ruby Wilde's other books.

I’m a sucker for a single-parent romance because it’s interesting to see how the parent(s) bond with the child and how the relationship is described. I don’t know why but it could be so realistic that this could be happening to someone you would see in passing. I love a good read where you can feel the tension between the characters. I was annoyed with Maggie, sad for her, liked her, and had her back throughout this book. I enjoyed reading this.
**spoilers below** The kind of person I am until they are divorced and the papers are finalized it can get messy and it can get ugly but I don't like the grey area of being separated. If I was in Maggie's shoes as soon as I met him at my dad's the first time I'd be too stunned to speak. r - I would’ve passed out and fainted immediately. I’m definitely team Leo with the cable situation I do not like streaming services anymore lol. Wearing the ex-wife’s clothes was definitely weird to me and weirded me out but it was funny to see. Their Valentine's Day sounded amazing Leo doesn’t know this new-age McDonald’s Sprite is definitely made with electric eels so of course he’s drinking something heavenly.

I think this is the first age-gap romance I have ever read where the age gap is truly felt as there are references made that emphasized the age gap such as musical taste, places they've been, etc.
I'm unclear on their ages as well as it is never clearly defined but it isn't that important. I'm assuming that Maggie is probably around 25 since there is a mention of piercings at 23 specifically (not last year or a few months ago). She also says she wasn't born yet in 1995.
I would probably put Leo in his mid to late 40s. It is not mentioned if he goes to the gym but he must be doing something to keep his body drool-worthy.
I love all the little literary factoids thrown in that make our characters credible as being in the publishing industry. Romance-wise, the pacing of the story is a little slow but it builds up nicely and we know it ends in HEA. It was refreshing to see that Leo was into Maggie from the get-go and awkwardly didn't know how to approach her. Such a nerd, lol! Love it!

This book needs an editor. The dialogue was often confusing as to who was speaking, there were more than a few spelling mistakes, and even a few times when the author forgot whose POV she was writing from. The mistakes were so frequent and glaring it made it difficult to read.
The pacing was also way off. Maggie and Leo went from hating each other to banging each other in the space of about three pages. The climax of the book happened about sixty percent of the way through, only to coast for the last fourth percent of it. I wanted to see more of their relationship build. I wanted a little more build up and tension. And honestly, the sex scenes were only ok. Nothing particularly great.
I liked some of the dialogue and I really like that they both had friends and relationships outside of their own. I’m always a fan of when authors remember the world outside the couple exists.
This was a KU book, so at least it wasn’t something I purchased, but I came really close to DNFing it.
Maggie has recently started a new job at Wrought Iron Publishing Company. She's doing well, she's spunky and well-liked by her coworkers. She is supposed to go away with one of her coworkers to a conference, but Nora has to cancel at the last minute. No worries, Leo will go to the conference with her. Maggie sees what was going to be a fun weekend turn into something she is most definitely not looking forward to. She sees Leo as brash and he just rubs her the wrong way. She still goes and after they have a few drinks, they end up sharing kisses and then a bed.
I enjoyed this story a lot and the banter between the characters was great. Even if the story is somewhat cliche and maybe unrealistic, the way that it is told and spun is great! And the characters reactions to events and each other are realistic and convey the surprise that they felt in finding each other.
Maggie just wants to read and edit books, she wants her boss to see she has more to offer than dealing with the bummer stories. She's smart and sassy and loves those around her. Who she doesn't love or like is her boss. Leo is arrogant and get's on her nerves she can't stand him. When her friend has to back out of the conference they were supposed to go to her boss lets her know it will be the two of them. She is not happy and will show it at every turn. From her work ethic to her sassy mouth, Leo has always been intrigued by Maggie. She's beautiful and leaves him wanting something he shouldn't have. These two have a chemistry that they will try to fight tooth and nail. What happens if they throw caution to the wind? Find out because it will be a good ride.
This contemporary romance is page-turning with realistic characters and exceptional world-building that is intriguing. Their journey is enthralling with falling for my billionaire Silver fox boss hole that was so not the plan, building a successful career in publishing, a mature, explict5 romance that is consumed by steamy lust, desire, passion, and spice with all the feelings, romantic comedy, an age-gap, enemies to lovers romance, drama, adventure, close friends with my dad, and more. I recommend reading this book by an extraordinary author who knows how to captivate her reader's hearts and attention with the bossy Silver fox and an explicit romance that will keep the readers wanting more.

I have to say that I loved Maggie and Leo's story, I was completely immersed from the very beginning and couldn't put it down! Leo is older and her boss, he's also been attracted to her since she started working with him. Maggie is a strong, intelligent and fiesty woman who isn't afraid to speak her mind. She is also attracted to him, but doesn't get along with him at first. Things soon change and they get to know eachother. There's a real connection between them. But can they be together? Expect plenty of fun, laughter, twists, secrets, passion, friendship, family and so much more throughout this riveting page turner! Enjoy!.

Leo and Maggie make no sense, on the surface. So it was a total pleasure reading their angst-ridden and lust-driven workplace romance. Somehow these misfits fit each other's niches at work, grow on each other at play, and drive each other to multiple-orgasmic heights in the bedroom, all while navigating the mine-field of ex-wives, small sons, possible parental meltdowns, karaoke with the girls, and other associated age-gap traumas. Really great characters, really goofy scenarios, and a fine balance between angst and adoration - this is a peach daiquiri of a good read.
Maggie is in for a shock when her colleague Nora doesn’t make the conference prompting the Boss to take her place…She thinks he’s a jerk and the last person she wants to be stuck with . As the drinks flow so do her inhibitions. Leo is on cloud nine , he’s always had a bit of a crush. One thing leads to another several. Really good sometimes funny story of their romance . Well written.Good depth and background to the characters and their situation believable.

The silver fox stories and then also with an age difference and so is the story of Maggie and Leo. Before they have to go to a conference, she doesn't like Leo despite him being her boss. But that slowly changes when they are there together and she notices that she had a very wrong image of him. There are unexpected twists and drama in their story but also a lot of hot moments between them. Will they find their happiness together?

Excellent read! Tension builds slowly culminating in the two main characters, Amanda and Gabriel, having an explosive night together. The doubts that haunt Amanda's mind are soon set to rest by the kind and gentle way she is treated by Gabriel. While her mother has her doubts due to the age difference and Waves of Flavor almost signals the death of their relationship, Gabriel comes of with an inventive way to incorporate Amanda's dream into his reality. Everything ends up on a happy note for the couple.
Young woman with older man! This is about Maggie and Leo! This was a funny book from start to finish. A little weird when Maggie shows up for dinner to find the man, she recently slept with sitting on the couch and all she thought was that she was meeting a friend of her father's! These two (differences in age show on each of the characters) are something else as one tries to think he knows it all while the other thinks she will be a huge disappointment. Love the ending of this book!.

Leo is a senior editor at Wrought Iron publishing company. He has been interested in one of the junior editor’s since she started there. When a weekend event that had Maggie going to it opened up for him to accompany her he took his shot. Maggie was not interested in Leo because for one he was old enough to be her father and second he annoyed her to death at work. But things started to look up for both of them once Maggie realized who Leo was and Leo realized that Maggie was everything he had ever hoped for.
This was Enemies To Lovers, Dad's Friend, Boss/ Employee and Age Gap Trope.
Maggie is an intelligent and beautiful lady. She has to work closely with her Boss. She doesn't like him as she thinks he is cold and arrogant. Leo is secretly happy to be working with her. The lines blur and they start a fling. Then he goes and hurts and surprises her. Excellent story with drama, twist, family, emotions, love and Steamy.
This age gap romance had me in Leo and Maggie's corner. He is her boss that she really didn't like but she didn't try to understand him either until they go away on a conference together. Their trip allowed Maggie to see another side to Leo and it started them along their path. It is an intriguing story with twists with his wife that had me in Leo's corner. Will he and Maggie get to have their happily ever after. I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.
Ladies let me tell you…. Bossy Silverfox was beyond one of the best books I have read. This is my first read from this author and I highly recommend. I wish I could just pluck the silverfox right from the book and keep him from myself. LoL but anyways I don’t give spoilers with my reviews so take my word this is a great read. I will definitely be looking for more books from this amazing author.

This book was good and will have you hooked from the beginning until the end and the storyline flowed throughout the book. Maggie gets dumped by her boyfriend and ends up falling for her boss which turns out to be dad's friend but when he shows up at her patents house with his soon to be ex wife and son will it destroy their relationship?.

Bossy Silverfox is an office romance between Maggie, who is a new employee at a publishing organization, and Leo, her new boss who unbeknownst to her has an ex-wife and son. Maggie and Leo attend a conference together and after a few drinks have a night of steamy passion. This enjoyable age gap book has great characters, witty banter, humor, unexpected twists, and a slightly bumpy road to finding love.

Four percent in and I was done. It was intriguing enough, but I couldn’t stand the feminazi garbage. I tried skimming and when it finally got good, more feminazi and leftist garbage. I hate stories where men and evil just because they’re men. And women can do no wrong.
Also, considering this book was about editing and publishing, I’d expect inconsistencies to be nonexistent. Even through skimming I found several.
I enjoyed this book. It was entertaining, sexy and hot. My only concern was why would someone bring an ex with his child (neve told girlfriend he had a child) to girlfriend’s dad Christmas party. I had a hard time with that part. Besides that the book was really good. I’ll be reading more from this author.
Good romance, but not so “bossy” characters. It's a good romance that remains quite simple, between Leo and Maggie. Their problem of previous separations and things left unsaid certainly add twists, but by remaining essentially in this simplicity, this cute side. Neither Leo nor Maggie are really bossy. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
Leo and Maggie’s story has them not having a hot night on a weekend trip. After this she finds that she doesn’t think he’s a bad as she thought he might be. But he is her divorced older boss with a child. A good steamy chemistry induced office romance, age gap story.

An enjoyable age gap romance... Really enjoying this author's work & this particular book introduced interesting main characters the boss & a new employee, sassy & sharp, she could give him s run for his money. He came to admire her work ethic & her quirky ways but could he ignore the age gap & pursue a personal relationship. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
I really wanted to like this book based on the blurb. The main characters were entertaining. The banter was good. The character development was well on Ivy aHowever, at the 75 percent the book, the miss-communications just became too much. This was very much about the youth of the things. Disappointed!
This started out kind of slow for me. But then it picked up pretty fast. The part where Leo is stoned is priceless. By the end of the book I was laughing so hard I had tears streaming down my face.
