Bishop, a fallen angel who is sworn to protect the city from those with Samantha’s newfound hunger, swears he will protect her. That he will help her find a way to break her curse. Don't get too close, it's dark inside. It's where my demons hide.🎶
So, book 3. I made it through. It was tough going for a bit, but the saving grace was not Samantha and Bishop. Oh no! I'd grown tired of them fairly quickly. My favorites, and will certainly be missed - Kraven and Jordan! Cassandra and the rest of the crew fall in there, leaving the FL, and ML in the dust. Kraven and Jordan have enough cockiness, sass, and smartassery, (much like myself), to keep me amused and engaged. Kicked up a notch in this book, I think we may have made it to week 2 in this saga, (I don't know, lost count, I was intent on following along, blinded by fluffery!) that actually made the ending feel rushed. Predictable. There's that one thing....the token good vs. evil standoff.
I still like these books. Excellent descriptives. Good grammar is always a plus. Would maybe have liked to see more of this series. More evil to conquer. More Kraven! 😆. Though on a more adult level, not Jr. High.
All in all, the three were good reads for me. Recommendable if kissing and hugging makes for warm and fuzzy! Kidding. Enjoyable. Glad I gave these, not my usual, a chance for me to enjoy. Would appeal to young teens.
Thanks Michelle! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Features distorted in the flickering light. Faces are twisted and grotesque. Silent and stern in the sweltering night. The mob moves like demons possessed.
