In this romance collection, ten authors bring you ten stories of springtime love from Amish communities spanning several states all across America including Maine, Maryland, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida. Come along on the journey with these unforgettable characters!

The Amish Schoolteacher's Escape by Ashley Emma
Jake has always been interested in Martha, but something about him makes her uneasy. When Isaiah moves to Unity, Martha is instantly drawn to him, but Jake crosses the line while trying to keep them apart. Martha must speak her truth, even if no one believes her. Will Martha be brave enough to find her happily ever after?

The Neighbor's Secret by Sylvia Price
Ruth Bontrager has watched everyone around her fall in love, leaving her anxious when no one seems interested in her. When a new family moves next door, Ruth wonders if her prayers have finally been answered. Joshua Fisher has caught the attention of his neighbor, but he keeps her at bay because of a secret he intends to keep hidden. Will Ruth be able to break through Joshua's wall? The Neighbor's Secret is a short story set in the world of Sylvia Price's bestselling Amish of Cardinal Hill series.

Blossoming Love by Ruth Bawell
Annie Lapp has tried being nice to the new neighbors, but it’s hard. Of course, it doesn’t help that Eli Weaver is so cold and distant. It almost seems like he put up their new fence on purpose, just to annoy her. So when Annie’s mamm tells her they will be organizing the Spring Festival with the Weaver family, Annie is not pleased. So why does being around him make her stomach flutter in an unfamiliar way? Sometimes, loves blossoms when we least expect it—and in the most magical ways.

Grace Overcomes by Grace Given
“But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” James 4:6
This delightful story peeks through the curtain at the plain life of Grace Byler and how her humble spirit and abounding love for humanity bring life and redemption to a troubled Amish community near Wooster, Ohio, especially for the duplicitous news reporter, Don Stevenson.

The Runaway by Brenda Maxfield
Grief-stricken 14-year-old Jack runs away into the night, and Mary knows it’s her fault. She rushes after him, only to be caught in a freak ice storm. Josiah—whom Mary secretly loves—rescues her in his buggy and together they go after Jack. As the storm worsens, they take refuge in a deserted barn. Caught in a cocoon of cold and desperation, will Mary admit her feelings for Josiah? If they do find Jack, could he ever be happy in their Amish community?

Come Walk with Me by Loree Lough
When Naomi travels from Lancaster, PA to Pleasant Valley, MD to care for Sawyer’s motherless, paralyzed daughter, the reward for trading her Old Order life for New Order Amish ways is lasting love…and family.

The Healing Season by Susan Lantz Simpson
Jennah Esh has moved to an Old Order Amish community in rural Southern Maryland to care for an elderly great aunt. Elijah Mast is angry at the world. Surgery after an accident has rendered him an invalid, in his eyes, because he is unable to care for his farm. Can something as simple and ordinary as apples help mend two broken hearts?

One Amish Summer by Lenora Worth
When Lila Dixon ‘runs away’ from her overbearing father and brothers to visit her pregnant sister in Pinecraft, Florida, she believes she’ll only stay a few weeks and then return to the drudgery of being the only woman in the house. But when Lila meets Hosea Willems on the beach and he literally saves her life, she thinks she might want to stay in Pinecraft a bit longer. Like maybe forever.

Mostly good stories

This collection of short stories has some good stories and others that are difficult to read because they're so poorly written. I did enjoy reading about the Amish from different parts of the country.

What a nice collection of stories this was! As with most anthologies I enjoyed some stories more than others, but there was not a bad one in the bunch!

The characters were mostly realistically drawn and the situations believable.

Undercover Amish: I have only read one story from this box set so far. It is a novella. A short and sweet story about an Amish woman killing her husband because he was hitting her, so when she had enough, she grabbed a knife and put it in his neck.

This was a box set of amish love stories. I enjoyed all of them. Each one was a nice love story with Amish love and affection in each story.
