I've expected something else - that this book would provide me with a better context regarding the artist, piece of art itself and some trivia about who, how it was made etc. Instead - most of the time there are one or two themes that can be linked to a piece of art and authors describe it in more detail (e.g. Korean medicine, life of Alfons Mucha and so on). It's just a very incoherent content.

fajnie wydana, bo z obrazkami ale jakaś taka pobieżna, brakowało dogłębnej analizy, czasem nawet nie rozumiałam w czym tkwi "sekret" danego dzieło. w porządku tak do lekkego obcowania ze sztuką, ale nic więcej
