Parisi Family #2

Forgotten Deeds

Rate this book
Lily

Taking a look around, I’m wondering how I wound up here. I don't mean “here,” as in an existential crisis; I mean here, as in the trunk of a psychopath’s car. And now, I've found myself married to the devil. Diávolos, more accurately. Rumor has it my new husband is mixed up with the mob, and tortures poor souls for fun. Well, this devil’s not getting my soul…or my heart.

Darius

Lily Grant has a terrible habit of being at the wrong place at the wrong time…how lucky for me. Wifey thinks she can keep me at arm’s length, but even from that distance, her wings are still gonna get singed. The little angel’s playing with fire, but I’m playing for keeps.

Oh what a tangled web we weave when the Parisi family we try to deceive.

Author’s Note: Forgotten Deeds is on the lighter side of dark Mafia romance. Please see CW at the beginning of the book.

Wattapad who!?!? I mean seriously !! This was horribly written, the girl trusts her child.. HER CHILD with a dangerous man. So so weird. If there was a trust build up or if the little girl met him and was acquainted before Lily found out he was a part of the mob, I’d get it.

Also.. he was not a stalker, this was instant love and list. If you wanna write about stalking then you need to watch YOU and give us Joe Goldberg energy lol

Anyways, if you wanna read smut on top of cringy smut this is your book to read

Beta Read. 5 words: As good as the first.

UPDATED:

“𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙤 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙡𝙡 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙖 𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙞𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚.”

Lily does NOT love dancing at the Glitter strip club, but the single mom must somehow raise her daughter and pay for college while her ex carries on with his womanizing, barely shows up for his visits with Iris, and doesn’t pay a dime in child support. Don’t love your work? Then work for what you love, right?

Until one day, 𝘋𝘪á𝘷𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘴 walks into her life and changes everything. The Devil’s real name is Darius and he’s a hitman for the Parisi family. Darius hones in on Lily like a heat-seeking missile. When the club gets entangled in mob business, he extends his protection over her and sets to wooing his “little Angel” and her small “Rainbow goddess.”

Forgotten Deeds is a diabolically good followup to the Parisi Family series. Its dark, sometimes morbid, humour capitalizes on the ironic joy and enthusiasm that Darius brings to his job. He may not be a good man, but this assassin has other sides to him. He wants to be a good husband and a good stepdad. He just has a different way of actualizing these goals than the rest of us!

“𝙈𝙮 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙙𝙞𝙧𝙩𝙮 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙣.”

Lily doesn’t know what to make of Darius initially. Danger radiates off of him in waves, but he is never anything but sweet to her and Iris. Sometimes people in her life, who seem so respectable and put together, let Lily down or are downright predatory. And then there’s Darius, who’s a bigger predator than any of them. If there’s a double entendre there, that’s no mistake. Darius has a huge appetite when it comes to Lily. It’s fun to watch Lily’s figurative angel wings get dirtied by the devil!

Andrea Hagan’s stories are humourous and sexy no matter what the genre. This is another cleverly executed proof of genius, that is aimed at dark mafia romance lovers. The author nails it when it comes to balancing the morally questionable “business” side of the Parisi Family with light-hearted silliness of the “family” side of the Family. Her subjects surprise me and there’s more than meets the eye. I’m eager to delve into the lives of other Parisi or Parisi-adjacent characters.

My thanks to the author for this opportunity to review an ARC.

Thank you a million times over to this author for sharing an ARC version of this book with me!!!

“Oh little angel, you're playing with fire
tempting the devil.”

"Fucker may have got there first, but I'll
be there last, that I promise."

"Good girl."

When I say this author is keeping me hooked and obsessed with this mafia romance series … I mean it from the bottom of my heart !!!!! There is not one single page of this book that I did not obsess over. I thought book one was my thing, completely and totally. Book one had Italian scenes and dialogues. But when I started reading book two … it might have been Darius, Diavolos, presence … but his Greek references and dialogues … I felt like melting multiple times.
In a single mum, forced proximity, insta attraction and also marriage kinda forced, Lily and Darius’ story takes a turn that I was not expecting and it made me soo much more addicted to this universe !!! As a single mum, trying to attend college, Lily tries to pay her fees by being a stripper at night. What she is not expecting to happen to her, is seeing something she shouldn’t have and then being forced by this tall, brooding, handsome and tattooed guy named Darius to marry him, in order to protect them from something, very dark, her friend Nikki has entangled herself in. Darius had the potential to be my favourite man in the whole entire world. For him it was insta attraction (for her too by the way) but the possessiveness and the obsession he has for Lily goes to such length that he would do and reach every place in order to protect her and make her his. So much so that when he finds out she has a daughter, Iris, he makes it his goal in life to win Iris over before her mother. Little Iris scared of this big tattooed guy … and the things he does because of this … I am melting only remembering it!!! This book was absolutely amazing and it was so so hot and so so spicy and so so good!! And the way it ended on a cliffhanger … I LOVED IT !!!! I literally from the bottom of my heart, can’t wait for the next book in this series !!!

"When it comes to you? You have no idea
how fucking unhinged I can be,"

“For something that started out so wrong, this is starting to feel so damn right.”

"Love. Obsession. Mania. None of those
words do it justice. You're all I think about in wakefulness and in my dreams. You're under my skin, little angel, with your pretty little fingers wrapped about my heart like a vise. A lifetime with you won't nearly be enough," he declares, kissing away my tears. "But we have to start somewhere."

This book was everything I could have hoped for and more. Book two in the Parisi Family series, Forgotten Deeds is Lily and Darius' story, and man was it incredible. Lily is a college student working as a stripper to support her and her daughter Iris. When she meets Darius at the club, she never expects to fall in love and end up married to this guy that everyone is terrified of. Darius and Lily heat up the pages with their story, and it's one that will have you flipping those pages because you will be dying to know what happens next. I loved the characters, and I fell in love with Iris. I also loved Kat and everyone else that was part of the family. I can't wait for the next book, because that ending sucker punched me.

I would like to begin by thanking the author for an e-ARC opportunity in exchange for a completely honest review of the book.

My review is much closer to a 4.5

I absolutely devoured this yet again. Andrea Hagan has not disappointed me at all. Like I said in my review of book 1, I am usually not a mafia romance girlie, but this series has me so freaking invested. I never fail to have so much fun from beginning to end and I again find myself surprised by how much I laughed. The author does a great job at having subtle humor in this dark romance

Lily is a 22-year old single mother who is a college student by day and a dancer by night. She has the cutest baby girl named Iris that has the brightest little mind. Lily has somewhat of a timid nature despite her extracurriculars as a dancer, and so her journey was heavily focused on becoming more confident in what she wants as well as learning to be okay with living in areas of grey. I loved her ambition to become a professor and the growth that we got from her character by the end of the book.

Darius is the Parisi family enforcer who is feared by all in the mob world because of how absolutely unhinged he is. And he absolutely is indeed completely unhinged .... but with each page that I read, my heart became soft for him. He could be positively awful to anyone that is not within his inner circle or not his girls, Lily + Iris. Darius had a difficult upbringing with a physically abusive father and so despite his career choices, he swore to himself to treat his future wife as a queen and oh boy does he. Although he has unconventional methods of solving his problems, his priority is always the happiness of his new wife and step daughter. Big scary Diavolos is such a domestic man. He cooks, buys his lady cars and solves all her financial problems, gets a big red dog tattoo so his little girl won't fear his scary tattoos. After reading all that, it becomes kind of easier to ignore his red flags tbh. Darius does things that are illegal but he always did it with the benefit of his girls in mind. He was absolutely down bad obsessed.

I love unconventional meetings between main characters and this is for sure the case between Darius + Lily. They first meet when Darius is threatening a fellow dancer on behalf of his boss behind the club that Lily works at. He lays eyes on her and it's like an angel was sent to be tainted by his darkness. Darius falls first and hard for his sweet Lily as well as her daughter, so when Lily witnesses something dangerous, he forces her into a marriage to protect her. OMG THE SPICE. The spicy scenes were for both the praise girlies and those with a degradation kink. The relationship between these two began kind of insta-lusty, but there was a development into something more stable with time. I really enjoyed seeing them work through their different personalities and seeing them compromise for each other. Darius may be a criminal but he was so dedicated to his wife and never strayed. Also his use of a greek term of endearment for her was everything!!! He went at Lily's pace and always gave her the option of being treated sweetly or being devoured by his devilish side.

I really love and appreciate the continuation of the larger plot point from book 1. The pieces are slowly coming together to reveal the bigger adversary that poses a threat to the Parisi family. On another note, every time we saw Nicky and Romeo from book 1, I was literally so happy. This book had an excellent balance of spice, humor, emotion, danger, and sweetness.

I had a fantastic time reading this and cannot wait to see what happens next. I literally ended up messaging the author on social media over the ending !! I have so many questions and the way that it ended made me have more!! I highly recommend this to someone looking for a lighter dark romance and a great spicy read.

I received a copy of this arc in exchange for my honest review. This is book 2 in the Parisi Family series. Ok, THIS BOOK.
THIS MAN.
Firstly, I devoured this.
Secondly, this is a mafia w3t dream! And thirdly, THE MOUTH ON DARIUS!
This is a fast paced thrilling mafia romance, with ALL THE STEAM. I love a strong Independent FMC, and Lily filled that role to a T. She’s a single mom to Iris, working as a dancer while getting her degree. When she is in the wrong place at the wrong time, she meets Darious as he’s taking a job. He is dark , dangerous and gorgeous, and he is obsessed with her.
These two are absolute FIRE together, basically melting my kindle. What starts out as a marriage for protection, quickly turns into real love.
Darious Is scary and dangerous, but with Lily and Iris, a giant possessive teddy bear.
I can promise you, he is going to become your next book boyfriend. He is nothing short of ADDICTING.
LILY IS A LUCKY LUCKY WOMAN! This book was nothing short of addicting and fantastic!
And the CLIFFHANGER…. Will have you counting the days down until book 3!

★★★. This was entertaining as hell. After he banged her brains out, she said “I love you” and if that’s not the realest thing ever. Darius got a tattoo of a big red dog for the daughter and did everything for them. Him being a killer, stalker and apart of the mafia is literally nothing. Lily was doing too much being all angry at him for killing the ex as if the ex was a great guy. 3 stars for Darius and the daughter. 0 for Lily because she got in my nerves

I read this book in one sitting. It was so good and unputdownable. The characters are so intriguing and loved how the book has both Murder mystery and romance too. The book hooked me from the page one and I loved every bit of it.

Lily and Darius are my favourite. Darius is such a sweet man. And Lily is sassy. I loved Irish too. She is mindful and very observant. I loved how the main characters meet and then their bond begin to develop and grow. Like they are meant to be together. Andrea did it again. You will always find a bit of sassy and sweet romance in her books. Her books are emotional and deep. And the spice was spot on. Loved how the circumstances brings them together and then when Darius asks Lily to marry him, her world completely changes. Lily has a habit of being at wrong place at wrong time but Darius knows how to take care of everything. I felt good for Irish.

This continuation of the Parisi Family story but with different main characters really expands this story into a direction that opens so many doors for this series!

Darius and Lily meet by chance, and he is absolutely mesmerized while she is understandably terrified in return. When shit hits the fan, Lily finds herself right in the middle of this mafia family and it’s a great story with many different angles. We get to learn about Lily, her upbringing, her daughter Iris and the deadbeat baby daddy drama; while also learning about the background of Diávolos and how he became an important member of the mafia family.

This book has twists and turns and ends with one hell of a cliffhanger. I can’t wait to see what’s next!

This book took me longer than I thought to finish it but honestly, it was a good book.

Darius and Lily oh my they’re the absolute cutest. He groveled (in my opinion) the entire book and still did after he got her.

Iris is literally my baby she’s such a cutie 🥹 mind and Darius’ rainbow goddess!!

This is an amazing continuation of the Parisi Family series. It really checks all the boxes when it comes to a thrilling mafia romance. Lily is a strong and independent FMC and Darius is the family enforcer who's a softy for the girls/women in his life. I love both of these character. Together and separately. With Lily's daughter it made for some adorable heartwarming moments. This is very fast paced read that had me hooked immediately. I am loving how this series is coming together and can wait to read the next book!

I DEVOURED this book! Andrea is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors and I get so excited when her ARCs show up! I thought that Forgotten Vengeance was great, and Forgotten Deeds was even better! The way the MMC feels about the FMC, the ties between her ex and him, the love he has for her daughter and how he cares for them both from the get go… Andrea absolutely grabbed my attention and kept me captivated. He’ll do anything to protect them, and anyone who gets in his way, will quickly be extinguished. I can’t wait for Kay’s story, Forgotten Deal!

Another exciting entry into this series. The main female MC is stuck but tries to dig her way out of the situation she is in, while the main male MC swoops in to upend her life (for the better!). The development of their relationship is a wild ride as they get to know each other while keeping external forces and threats at bay. The pacing of the story was spot on and the plot kept me eager to know what happens.

Andrea Hagan never disappoints. The banter between Darius and Lily is laugh out loud funny. Since Forgotten Vengeance, I’ve been so invested in finding out Darius’ story. I love a psycho who gets the girl. The story transports you to New Jersey and you live it right along with the characters. This was an excellent story and I can’t wait to read the next in the Parisi Family series.

Wow! I am obsessed with this book. I loved every single thing about it!!! There is something about a dark mafia romance with an anti-hero whose entire personality is to bring fear. Darius lives up to his name - he’s definitely a dark angel. He’s OTT possessive and protective but has this sweet side that comes out when he’s with Lilly and her daughter Iris….talk about swoony. This book has everything, it has danger, violence, witty banter, humor, and let’s not forget about some twists and turns.

The cliffhanger has me on the edge of my seat waiting for the next book. This series is a favorite and a must-read!!!

The devil and his angel!

There’s a single mum, a hit man with a penchant for true crime podcasts, studying, insta love (for him), touch her and d!e, falling for the bad guy, Greek mythology and hidden obsession!

Having read the first book in this series and really enjoyed it (Romeo and Nicky’s story), I was keen to read book 2 as book 3 is out in a matter of weeks!

I love the whole dynamic of this Mafia family. This book focuses on Darius and Lily. He’s an enforcer/hit man whose brief encounter with a scared dancer leads to a little obsession on his part but she becomes equally intrigued. He’s a bad guy with a soft centre but will protect what’s his so incredibly fiercely, and that extends to Lily’s daughter.

The books in this series from Andrea Hagan are great mafia reads, nice and spicy and will keep you so on the hook that you’ll struggle to put them down! Take a look for yourself!

This is the second book in the Parisi Family series, and I think I liked this one just a tad more then the first book (Forgotten Vengeance). I’m not sure why though, maybe I just have a soft spot for crazy stalkers. 😉

Each book in the series focuses on different characters who we get to know along the way. I really love that about this series, and I really enjoyed catching a glimpse of Forgotten Vengeance’s main characters as well.

The pace of the story is perfect, there are some crazy plot twists along the way. The stalker aspect gives the story more of a dangerous edge, which I absolutely loved. And what is it with these crazy dangerous men that have sweet little nicknames for their love interests? Seriously, dangerous and swoonworthy at the same time.

Daring, sexy, bold and dangerous. What more could we ask for? I read it in one go, couldn’t put it down!

Aaahhh!!! This is by far my favorite Andrea book ever!!! I know I say that everybody but Darius is seriously swoon worthy!!! Gotta love when the man falls first and we see it from his pov!!! And he is so good with Iris!!! Never knew the day would come when I would be jealous of a child! Diávolos is a total walking red flag but Darius is so damn quick to melt my heart! I loved how Lily too is so strong and admirable fictional or not! I have never wanted to live in a fictional world so much! And that cliffhanger!!!! It should be illegal to end a book like that!!

ARC REVIEW!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
QUOTE - "Love. Mania. Obsession. None of those words do it justice. You're under my skin, little angel, with your pretty little fingers wrapped about my heart like a vise. A lifetime with you won't nearly be enough "

I love this first book in this series and I LOVE this one just as much!! Lily and Darius (Diávolos') couldn't be any different if they tried. Lily works as a dancer and Darius is the enforcer for the 'family'. Darius stumbles across lily when she overheard him threatening another dancer and he became instantly obsessed!! The Greek god of a man found himself a lil slice of heaven and he wasn't letting it go!!

Lily was dancing as a stepping stone and had no idea the Greek god was DIávolos until she spotted his tattoo. She knew he was trouble and she knew she should stay away but what girl doesn't love a bad boy?!. Lily finds herself in a sticky situation and Darius has to fix the issue before 'the family dose'

If you're looking for a Greek god telling you your stunning and growling when he gives you a punishment then this is the book for you!! I suggest reading book one to this series before this as they interconnect!!

Definitely recommend!!!

Okay, let me start by saying: Darius, WTF.
Glad I got that out of the way. Seriously though, it needs to be said because WTAF.
He is the blueprint for psychotic cinnamon roll. He's so gooey and sweet and then he pops up and reminds you of how psychotic he truly is. He is a Grecian muscle man working for a NJ mafia family and absolutely in love with Lily. She's a single mom college student by day, dancer by night and not interested in Darius at all. Unfortunately for her, she ends up married to him after witnessing some of his *work*.

Love the twists in this. From mid book to the very last page, I was flying through because I needed answers! Shoutout to Andrea for getting me hooked on mafia romances and creating a MMC so deranged that I'm genuinely concerned for her (and my) mental health

Tropes: single mom FMC, nicknames, talking in his native language, forced/marriage of convenience, he falls first, instant love, one bed, "good girl", stalking, explicit sex scenes, touch her and die
