STEVE'S RESPONSIBILITY

Wonderful story on how a pet is told to eat (and does!) everything in order for STEVE to avoid the responsibility of feeding and caring for his younger brother, his pet, and obeying his mom, and the responsibilities of his house, even keeping up with his best friend's family. He soon realizes his folly, and to his immense satisfaction, all is returned to what is once was. In the end, the reader is asked if indeed he or she is like STEVE, or if he or she is responsible.
