This series keeps growing and I’m glad for that. I loved Paxton. Sandra Lynn needed to start over after a horrible marriage. She needed to show her son David a new life. That’s why she went home to Tucker’s Bluff. Her mom still lived there. It was just as she remembered it. She stepped into Sisters and she couldn’t be more happy. They knew who she was. That’s what people in small towns did. Even though she’d been gone for a long time they still knew who she was.
A small car issue and that’s how she met Paxton Farraday.
A must read. Do read all the Farraday books. Adam is the first.

Wow, this was an amazing book to read! I was on the edge of my seat praying for everyone, and I chuckled at humorous bits, and teared up when things got emotional. I can't say too much without giving anything away, but I loved this book and totally recommend it. I was gifted an ARC and I'm voluntarily sharing my honest opinion. Oh, and I love Quinn's parting thoughts at the end of the epilogue.

One of “Construction Cousins” TV show brothers, Paxton Farraday was glad this show was wrapped up in the can!. While commiserating with older brother Quinn, SIL Valerie walked up to them, talking about the off-camera build they were going to do. Quinn shared a look with Paxton that said, “what is she talking about?” Valerie continued with the show was approached to build a new home for a needy family. The executive producers had decided it would bring great publicity for the show and fill in a need for a low income, needy family at the same time.
Over lunch Valerie reminded them they were going to build a 3-bedroom house on a lot the charity had obtained right there in Tuckers Bluff! Owen was supposed to inform everyone about it, but apparently had forgotten! Paxton and Quinn were leaders on this endeavor. Oh and the prospective homeowner would be helping with the build! Really?
All Sandra Lynn Baker wanted was to get herself & David to her Mom’s. Five-year-olds and long road trips were poor partners. But she was back home, in Tuckers Bluff. From what she could see, Cut n Curl and Sisters Boutique, were still in their original spots! Only thing missing was her Dad, she had not even been able get home when he died. But now she was home, hopefully for good this time! She never thought when she left the first time, she would ever come back. Thinking Ed was her future and ticket out, little did she know then what would the future held.
Helping a damsel in distress, Paxton, felt like he knew this woman from somewhere, but couldn’t put his finger on where or when. Then Ned the mechanic, could not get her car started, Paxton drove her home. But it wasn’t until her Mom called her Sandra Lynn, did he remember her. Boy did he remember HER!
Next time Paxton and Sandra Lynn met was at the homesite of the charity build. Paxton, Owen and Neil were going over plans when Grace “happened” to stop by, Sandra Lyn was with her. Introductions made, Owen and Neil took off, Grace remembered an appointment and was leaving but not before asking Sandra Lynn to come to the ranch for Supper that evening. Aunt Eileen had been saying she wanted to see her again. Oh and would she bring David, he would get to meet the younger Farraday’s that had come along. Talk about being setup! Invited to see what Quinn and Paxton were doing, Sandra Lynn asked about the house. Paxton showed her the plans, talking patios and counters. Then he showed her how to use a drill. Standing close to the guy she dreamed about in HS, was getting better all the time!
David could not contain how excited he was, bouncing to and fro. Sandra Lynn was buzzing about too, so between them the level was chart topping! Just to be with nice adults and family again was a wish come true! First thing Aunt Eileen did was grab her and wrap her in a big hug. Next was news the family tapped by the charity for the home build, had bowed out. They needed a house, but closer to their family.
Next day Sandra Lynn came home from Cut n Curl to find Paxton and David outside in the yard. Paxton was teaching David how to use a hammer and nail, kneeling by the child at his level, answering his questions very patiently. Gut punch number one. While David ran to see his Grandmother, Paxton informed Sandra Lynn, the Farraday’s, the Network, and The Charity had a long talk about who to give the house to. Consensus from all partners, was her and David! Gut punch number two. Smiling, she screeched and grabbed him squeezing his middle in a giant hug. Paxton was stunned!. All he could do was smile, as she kept telling him “You’re my Hero!?”
Over the coming weeks, fate seemed to keep Paxton and Sandra Lynn, bumping into each other, spending time together, at the homesite, her Mom’s, simply everywhere! David seemed to really revel in Paxton’s company. He loved it when they threw the baseball around or they read a bedtime story together. Sandra Lynn seemed to be having a good time too. The day Paxton showed her the landscape plan, they talked Now if you really want to know what happens in the book, you’ll have to get a copy yourself. I only set the stage, you have it all for yourself!

In " Paxtons überraschendes Familienglück (Farraday Country Texas 16) " kehrt Sandra Lynn Baker mit ihrem kleinen Sohn David in ihr Heimatstädtchen Tuckers Bluff zurück, um dort nach dem unschönen Ende ihrer Ehe neu durchzustarten.
So begegnet Sarah auch wieder ihrem Kindheitfreund Paxton Farraday und fühlt die alte Verbundenheit zu diesem.
Paxton Farraday ist aufgrund der Reality-TV-Show Construction Cousins zurück in Texas bei dem Teil der Familie, die er sowie seine Brüder die lange Zeit nicht mehr gesehen hatten.
Neben der Reality-TV Serie um Sadieville sollen die Construction Cousins ein Wohltätigkeitsprojekt für Bedürftige verwirklichen und Paxton freut sich auf diese Arbeit.
Als Paxton einer Frau zur Hilfe eilt, ahnt er nicht, das dies seine Jungendfreundin Sarah Lynn ist und diese zurück in Tuckers Bluff ist. Umso erfreuter ist Paxton, dass beide gleich wieder dort anknüpfen können, wo es vor Jahren endete.
Auch zu David, dem kleinen Sohn Sandras hat Paxton sofort einen Draht und genießt die Zeit mit dem agilen Jungen und dessen Mom.
Dabei kommen Sandra und Paxton sich unweigerlich näher und fühlen sich zueinander hingezogen.
Wird es für Sandra nebst dem kleinen David und Paxton eine gemeinsame Zukunft geben? Oder steht ihrem Glück zuviel im Weg?
Auch treffen wir wieder auf liebgewonnene Protas der Vorgängerbände, allen voran Tante Eileen als gute Seele der Farradays.
Die Story hat mich gleich wieder mit nach Tuckers Bluff genommen, dabei bleibt sie spannungsgeladen sowie abwechslungsreich. Man darf mit Sandra und Paxton mitfiebern und die verschiedensten Emotionen erleben. Es gibt einiges zum schmunzeln bis herzhaft zu lachen, so manche mitfühlende, tragische wie auch brisante Momente und die ein oder andere Träne zu vergießen.
Ich konnte das Buch nicht mehr aus der Hand legen, da ich wissen wollte, ob und wie es für alle drei ein Happy End gab.

In Chris Keniston's newest Farraday Country Book, Paxton reencounters a friend from his summer visits back in the day. Even before he discovers that she is divorced from an abusive husband, Paxton Farraday is as fascinated with Sandra Lee as he was when they were young; her energetic son is a bonus for this Oklahoma cousin. The protective Farraday gene leaps into play once he discovers her story and sees her current circumstances; there is a bit of old-fashioned southern heart in that whole family. When the family chosen for the Habitat-like program featured in their current TV project backs out, Paxton recommends Sandra Lynn as the prospective homeowner. The time she contributes to the project gives him a little more time to spend with the spunky woman who drew him when they were young. Her work ethic and enthusiasm continue to fill his heart. There may not be a new gray dog hanging around, but this landscaper has found his forever love.

It is funny how when we were a teenager we wanted to get out of a small town and into a bigger city. Unfortunately Sandra Lee learned the hard way when she married a loser, divorced him, and came home to Texas with her five year old son to live with her mother it isn’t always what you think it will be! Fortunately Sandra runs into Paxton in town who she was close to when they were younger. Paxton and his brother are in town working or their construction show. The two are also building a house for a single mother who doesn’t have the money to pay for one. I loved that when the original person they were building for fell through that the Farraday’s made it happen that Sandra Lee was going to get the house. Since the owner had to help build the house, Sandra Lee and Paxton were together a lot. My heart melted when Paxton put a lot of time with David who had no real father figure. You will be one the edge of your seat when something terrible happens. Thank heavens for the Farraday’s! I strongly

Of all the Farraday brothers and cousins, it was Paxton that had been her best friend when they were young.

I'm so glad the Farradays are a large family!! It means we get to know each of them and I have fallen in love with each one, as their stories are given to us!
Sandra Lynn and her son David have come back to her home town of Tucker Bluffs after her divorce. As she pulls into town, she sees so many familiar sights that she used to not be able to get away from fast enough, are now comforting. When she was a child she grew up playing with the Farraday children. When she has car trouble and is fretting because she cannot afford repairs, who comes to her rescue but Paxton Farrady.
Paxton has a home improvement show, his sister in law works for their show and tells him of a home they are going to be building for a needy person, preferable a single mom. Paxton's first thought is he'd love for Sandra Lynn and David to have it.
Sandra Lynn and Paxton are so cute together and are the perfect fit! I loved the story and the characters!! Bonus! There are characters from other Farrady books.

Paxton by Chris Keniston is the newest book in the Faraday family. He works on renovation projects on the Construction Cousins reality TV show. However this newest renovation project just took a positive bent.
His old friend Sandra Lynn Hammond has just moved back into town. Together with her son, they moved in with her mother to start again and raise her son in a safe place. Paxton finds Sandra as interesting as he did when they were young. He also discovered he really liked her son as he played with him while wooing his mom.
Another wonderful love story by Chris Keniston that highlights the joys of small town living and being surrounded by the Faraday clan. Paxton is generous and sexy. How could Sandra resist? One more, Chris takes us to the world of the Farraday families in Texas. The Farraday cousins from Oklahoma have come to Texas to work for Farraday Construction. They are renovating a home for charity and it is being filmed for their television show. At the same time, they are still working on the nearby ghost town and other projects; but the house for charity is one that is dear to their hearts. This year, it is special for Paxton as the house is being renovated for a single mother who has returned to her hometown after a divorce. Paxton is drawn to Sandra Lynne and her young son, David. Could he be the next Farraday to fall in love?

The American dream
This is the archetypal family and small Western town, that is dreamt of. Interestingly, populated by an Irish family with loads of children and just as many cousins, giving ample scope for trope romances. Clean, good fun is had by all with a touch of drama for spice.
Light reading with few challenges and such well mannered males. I learnt about West Texas and why cattle, and looked up the 2 step, and decided that the weather and snakes had put me off. Plus I like hills!

This one is a really sweet feel good romance. Sandra Lynn moving back home after ending her not so great marriage, settling back into small town life with her son. Along the way Sandra Lynn finds so much is the same, yet a bit different and she runs into some great luck on a few fronts. No drama in the relationship with Paxon, just a bit of drama towards the end, that ends quickly and in a way that is great for the characters.

Whether you laugh your head off, eat your heart out or lose yourself in the drama of it all, Farraday Country is the perfect destination to put more than a little love in your heart. Keniston takes romance to whole new level with Paxton. From friendship to heartbreak and all the second chances in between, Paxton and Sandra are the sweetest type of delight.

The sixteenth story in the Farraday Country, this is Paxton Farraday and his childhood friend, Sandra Lynn, another great story in this series. The story is engaging with very good characters and a storyline that held my interest throughout. I enjoyed seeing them get their happy ending.

I absolutely love this series. Such a great storyline for childhood friends, Paxton and Sandra Lynn, to find each other again. This is such a great friendship to love story and a must read in the Farraday family series.

This one was sweet. That was a little bit of excitement that just cemented how that whole family has each other’s back!! If only real families could be so supportive!!

Sandra and Paxton are adorable and I loved how they reconnected. He was absolutely amazing with her son and it not only made her heart swoon but mine as well. I always enjoy going back to Farraday Country and catching up with the family. I do hope we get to find out the reason Paxton's mom is so against him being with his cousins.

Was das wohl für Geheimnisse sein werden?
Inzwischen ist sie geschieden und kommt mit ihrem Sohn wieder zurück.
Ihr Auto versagt und da ist Paxton ihre Rettung, er hilft ihr und ihrem Sohn.
Man spürt da schon, dass es zwischen den beiden funkt, das die Chemie passt und doch gibt es da ihren Ex-Mann der ihr das Leben schwer macht. Aber da hat sie Paxton an ihrer Seite, aber nicht nur ihn. Er ist ihr persönlicher Ritter und doch auch so viel mehr.
Was die drei so alles erleben und wie es dann endet. muss man schon selber lesen.
Auch hier ist wieder eine Spannende Story entstanden.
Eine ganz klare Kauf-Leseempfehlung.
