Bill Myers was born into a Christian home, and although as a child he became bored with Christianity, he decided at the University of Washington quote, to "make God my boss." Ironically, at the University his worst subject was writing. He claims to have prayed, and said that he would be able to do anything for God, except write. Even so, he has become a prominent Christian writer, and has a large amount of successful books and films to his credit.

Do you enjoy reading thinly veiled right-wing Christianist propaganda? How about reading about an illogical version of Wicca that bears no resemblance to the real religion and instead is a strawman that the author can beat up to pontificate their own beliefs? If so, you will love this steaming pile of crap.

As someone who is Wiccan, I'm not offended by this book because it scrambles my religion in favor of scare tactics and nonsense, I'm really just offended that it is so badly written. I mean really REALLY badly written. No real plot, no real character development, didactic and predictable dialog and plot twists make it a total waste of your time. Unless you need to stretch and condition your eye rolling muscles.

This book didn't catch my attention much. The excitement is a possession in some restaraunt, which i guess is exciting. Out of all the other books in this series, this definitely wouldn't be my favorite.

After spending four books with the author acting as though Krissi and Julie didn't exist, it was nice to see them again.

This story was one of the more terrifying stories considering the political climate in America today. It was very eye opening!

for the same reason as the others.

this one, tho, also drove the point home, as to how much influence TV stars, and other such noteable people (sports stars, etc.), have over us, and especially children who can't always discern reality from illusions!

we REALLY need to guard our intake, as you never know how someone is going to try and sway you to go down the wrong path, partially because the wrong path can be so easily disguised!

A little dark (which is understandable) but still good. I would not suggest for younger kids.
