Outrunning danger and a gut-wrenching past, Ryan Kent switched identities so often, sometimes he lost track of who he was. Still, certain things no man should forget. Like the long-lost family now searching for him. Like a woman he'd loved more than life itself . . .
Yet in the shattered jigsaw of Ryan's yesterdays, key memories were missing. Which suited the steely security agent just fine. Until hauntingly attractive Taylor Simmons kidnapped his heart---and lovingly demanded all of him.

When I read the last book, I knew the setup for this one. The hero would turn out to be the love the heroine lost two years back. However that reveal only comes after the hero has won over the heroine. The hero runs into the heroine and catches a fancy to her while he is essentially spying on his family deciding whether he wants a reunion or not. I found his lies really off putting even though he pursued the heroine genuinely. I did feel she forgave his deception way too quickly. This was just average.
This is the story of Ryan Kent, aka Bobby Walker, the last of the Walker orphans split up 26 years earlier and now getting back together through the efforts of one sister. In this story Ryan is in Dallas to scope out his lost family before making himself known to them. In his incognito identity he meets his sister Michelle’s best friend Taylor Simmons. He feels an immediate connection, but has never met her. She sees strong visual similarities between him and her late lover from 2 years earlier. As their love grows and family connections are made, the backstory gets pieced together. A satisfying conclusion to the Walker saga.
