Most people would be satisfied with classifying this story as fantasy and leaving it at that, but darned if it isn't a Classic Weird story, one that could have appeared in an issue of Weird Tales. Short but sweet, this tale has excellent twists.

Very good conversational tone.

In Librivox SSF Collection Vol 019. Truly excellent story about a TV repairman who takes a refreshingly Zen approach to faulty electronics. DO NOT SKIP! Hysterical fun!

I got such a big kick out of this hilariously written short story about a man, his turned-around television set, and the Maynard G. Krebbs-like television repairman in the way he talked, Daddy-O. The dialogue was priceless! Recommended.
