Decisions - that's what life is about. Each day we make decisions, and even the seemingly less significant ones can have eternal consequences. Through a multiplicity of characters in nineteen different stories, this book offers a fresh look at decisions in the making.

"The greatest battles ever fought are waged within the confines of one's own heart." "When a man is humble enough to involve those around him in his climbs, then he is a man"
This book has several short stories of decisions people make and the results for making them. My favorite was the snowflake who thought she was prettier than all the rest and didn't want anyone to touch her or get close for fear they might bend or break her. She landed on the ground away from everyone and had no one around.
Each chapter is a different little story about making decisions and their consequences. The first couple were cute and I really enjoyed the morals of the stories. The end ones were ones they told their kids, and I think my husband tells better "kiddie morality" stories than these. So in the end- it was okay. Nothing great.
This is a cute little book of short stories about making decisions. I liked some of the stories, especially the last one which is actually the one about the Town Called Charity.
Oh, how I loved this book when I was growing up. I cried and cried when I read it, I was so touched by it. I would like to reread it and see how it shaped my thinking.
