I really liked the illustrations and photos, and the author's passion for poker did shine through. However, the book largely consisted of examples of fantastical hands that were written in a wall of text format. As a beginner, my eyes would cross reading that. As a more experience player, I felt frustrated that it wasn't in a more readable Hand History format.
