Beautiful, plentiful photographs and clear, concise explanations make this an excellent reference book! The jewelry examples are sometimes magnificent and grandiose, sometimes stunning and simple. The step-by-step instructions make you think you can actually do the projects and achieve the photographed, professional-looking results. One minor criticism is that I wish the Stone Shapes Reference section would have been in the front of the book. It would have cleared up a lot of questions. This is going on my "To Buy" list.

I work for a jewelry company and wanted to learn more about the creation of it. I learned a lot more than I anticipated. The pictures of jewelry in the book are also really interesting. I wanted to share them with my friends every few pages.
