My favorite character was Nora because she was really sweet. Something that surprised me was that Nora was the person that brought Squeaks. If I had a choice that I could change the ending or not I'd would not because it is such a calm and sweet ending.

One of those children's books I adore and will never get rid of my copy of. I don't even remember when or how I got this, but I've loved this book since I learned to read.

This was a cute book, and I probably would have given it a higher rating had it not started out at Halloween time. The main character was dressed as a witch, and I didn't really like that. I'm not a Halloween person at all. Anyway, the mystery was cute and it was well-written, especially for the age group it targets. It actually kept me guessing a teeny bit. It was a short read, maybe took me about an hour. Short and sweet.

It was a cute story with a good moral in it for children. I can see this being a good book to read with a class with animal based projects.
