I read this book over a period of three years while volunteering aboard the U.S.S. Hornet as security, Team Lead on some of their History/Mystery Tours, and as a participant in a few of the ParaCon paranormal weekend events.

This book was very helpful to me in learning the specifications of the ship, as well as verifiable history to supplement stories from Docents and visitors.
