Soccer Circus is about Hobbie Hanson going to his Soccer Tournament under his father’s rules to not into trouble and to keep his nose clean. Hobbie and his friends are nine minutes late for their first game (Zappers vs Pigs.) The Pigs are bullies and they are really good soccer players. One of Hobbie’s teammates (named Nick) slops the Pigs goalie in the face with mud. That makes the Pigs mad. The Pig’s fans yell SQUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUEEEEEEEEEEE then the Pigs take the ball and the Pigs win the first game 4 to 1. I do not want to spoil the whole book for you. Just know that Hobbie’s nose is not that clean. -Sam Kuntz

This book is just an overall fun book to read. Hobie Hanson has a good, clean, refreshing adventure as he's away for the weekend on a Soccer Tournement getaway. There aren't any deep thoughts or moral issues with this book. It's just a good book to read to enjoy. A great read!
