Kagetora is a ninja with the most important duty in his village–to serve and instruct Yuki, the pretty young heir to the Toudou martial arts family. There’s just one Kagetora has fallen in love with her. And more trouble looms when Yuki’s overprotective best friend, Aki, needs someone to pose as her boyfriend. Although she’s never trusted Kagetora, she now sees him in an attractive new light. But the biggest threat to Kagetora’s hopes of romance turns out to be Yuki’s intimidating grandmother, who threatens everything between master and ninja.

More chicks falling for Kagetora, Kagetora and Yuki dance around their feelings some more, and apparently, this shit is being dragged out just to piss me off!
But I really love Kosuke and his signs... lol

WOW!!!
This volume really is a turning point for me! I loved everything about it! I think the story is finally starting to get awesome! So, in this volume, Kagetora is taking his role as Yuki's protector very seriously, there is a chapter where Kagetora has to go on a fake date with one of Yuki's close friends from school and it leads to some misunderstanding from Yuki and bits of jealousy. But also, some tension between him and Yuki's friend. More women are beginning to fall in love with Kagetora and it's pretty fun to watch what kind of trouble that brings him. It's this volume in which i discovered that it has been 2 years since he has been working for them, so if my calculations are correct, that makes him at least 18 years old and that means they are old enough to have an adult-ish relationship. So that made this volume a itty bit extra steamy. There were a couple of scenes that I LOVED. They were so cute and made me think of when my husband and I were just starting to date. Very cute and some tension is building between them. GREAT volume! Cannot wait to continue the series!

Kagetora: Volume 6 is the best Kagetora book yet. I loved the first story with him having to pretend to be Aki's boyfriend. It was a funny story that made me smile. The last story was also wonderful. I liked the introduction of Nao into the mix. She is sure to stir up some trouble, in an innocent sort of way. I look forward to seeing how the archery story ends and to finding out what happens with her an Kagetora.

The artwork by Akira Segami is once again very well done and the stories are awesome.

The adaptation is good and the dialog flows pretty well, but there are still times when it could be better.

This series is finally hitting its stride and the stories are getting better.

Overall, Kagetora: Volume 6 is an excellent manga book that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. And with the introduction of Nao, I wonder if Yuki will finally admit that she likes Kagetora so that she won't lose him. Hmmm . . . I wonder. Maybe I will find out in Kagetora: Volume 7. I sure hope so.

I rated this book an 9 out of 10.
