For such a slim book with a wide margin I went in to it expecting less detail. I am happy to find that within the text is enough history for a ground to stand on plus plain spoken, useful remarks on recreating the scripts presented. Once I begin to practice these the tome, though skinny will prove quite muscular.

If one were interested in doing these medieval letterforms, this book is an invaluable resource. I wish there were more information and illustrations for laying out the page(s) to receive text.
