The back matter for Want, a collection of women's fantasies edited by Gillian Anderson, describes its contents as "groundbreaking". I fear Marjorie Lee's 1973 OPUS has been overlooked. I can find barely any record of this book online, and I picked it up in the dollar bin of my local bookstore, but it is so wonderful that it has restored my faith in happenstance.
The writing is astonishingly frank — Anderson's collection appeared to be quite preened and edited from my brief flick through — and Lee's asides and interjections are laugh out loud funny. I will lend this book to anyone. I am tempted to digitize it myself. A treasure.
