Trinity is a seemingly ordinary girl with a not-so-ordinary destiny. In this tale of two worlds, of magic and intrigue, romance and danger, figuring out the secrets of her past becomes a matter of life and death. As Trinity begins to find the answers she soon discovers that her true identity may be the greatest secret of all...
A strong start, but we took a hard right into Mary Sue-ville and never returned. I mean, a haaaaard right. Londyn didn't get enough floor time for me to really care much for her, and by the time Trinity started skipping through the village spreading her love over the innocent children I'd mentally checked out. I'm bummed, because it has such a cool premise.
Started out good but slowly the excitement waned and the plot was drug out... The romance could have been more and the love triangle needed more... Maybe #2 will have more to it without being drug out...
I've read many negative reviews about this book, but I found it quite enjoyable. Yes, there are some editing errors, and yes, the writing style is fairly juvenile, but the story itself captures and demands your attention. Trinity knows nothing of her life before the academy, where she was left as an infant. Turning 18, her time has come to move on to college. She is to meet her lawyer before making the final steps to Harvard, where she's been accepted. Within her meeting with the lawyer, her life falls apart with the information she is given... little does she know everyone she has met along the way will help her rebuild it.....
I waited for Bruce Coville to finish the unicorn chronicles for ten years! I will wait for to finish this book! I've had this book for at least 4 years and I always come back to read it! Hope I get a chance to read book two.
Worst book ever! If your character's name is Trinity, the possessive is Trinity's NOT Trinities. And that is not even close to the horror of the grammar/prose of this book.
