Very detailed and structured book, making it easy to skip around if you choose. Definitely a little dense, but helpful. Recommend reading a supplemental potty training book with a little more shared mommy stories - trial/error/success stories for inspiration and encouragement.

Potty Training is hard. Potty Training twins is even harder (at least I am guessing, I have never potty trained anything but twins). Nothing in this book helped me, but I blame that more on my kids than the book. I gave up on it, and just went by instinct alone. We are close. So close I am donating this book tomorrow!!

One of the better books. Focused on categories of kids, parents, and methods. Doesn't have a lot of narrative fluff, so it's efficient.

Criminally underrated here.

I'm actually in the process of reading this. It's sort of turned into a "quick moment" book, because that's how the book is laid out. I just got done reading a lengthy "how-to" book on how to get my toddler to sleep so I wanted to find a cut-to-the-chase book that would help me figure out the signs when my toddler's ready to start potting training more seriously. We're dabbling, but her toddler friends around her are just sort of jumping into it so I'm wondering if there are ways to encourage this major milestone. So far, I've gone through half of it, and I'm changing my star rating because I think it's pretty good.

I can't believe that I'm actually going to write a review about a potty training book but I guess that's what life has become!

This book wasn't bad but then again, how exciting can a potty training book be? The book answers a lot of questions and gives a few different options for potty training plans but offers very little information in terms of just what the plan should involve. On the plus side the book is short and easy to read. We'll see if any of it actually works!

I was looking for some insight on what to expect/try in the next 6 months regarding potty training. Practical info without the pressure. Nothing fancy but definitely a book I would refer back to when the time comes.
