This series felt like it was aimed at the YA market. If so, the aim was true. I particularly liked the way the characters worked together when needed, and the cheerful optimism they displayed. All up, a good story.
I also, as an Aussie, liked the Australian flora and fauna environment in which the series was set.
I would have given it five stars, but the lack of decent editing was too evident. I can't recommend too strongly the need for at least a professional proofreader and, if possible, editor before publication. If nothing else, buyers deserve it.
