Rate this book
It was Charlie's first time at Comic Con. He was hoping to buy some comics, see some costumes and have fun with his friends while enjoying the best Philadelphia had to offer. Unexpectedly, drawn into a world of four-color fantasies and frenetic collectors, he's trying to keep his head above water and chasing a girl who keeps wandering in and out of his life while trying to stay ahead of some new enemies that threaten to put an end to his adventure.

I'm a writer/film maker and a full time father who was born and raised at the Jersey Shore. Early on, I developed a love of horror movies, comic books and writing. I'm also a big Doctor Who fan, which is why I have a TARDIS in my basement. After going to college at Virginia Tech, I've parlayed some of what I've learned into a career, though writing is really what I want to do with my life.

As such, I've taken to self-publishing. My first novel, Lost at Comic Con, is now available at Amazon.com in paperback and for the Kindle.

In February of 2015, I released my second novel, the first part of the Friday Night Frights series entitled The Dead Next Door. If you like vampires or just like to see them killed, you should check it out.

In March 2016, the second book in the Friday Night Frights saga, The Madman of Lake Mongawonga, was released.

Being that I just went to New York ComicCon this past weekend, I felt it was time to read this gem by Eric Mosher. This is his first novel, and the only one that I haven’t read before. It was a quick read, and lots of fun! You get a real feel for the Con scene, and can picture the floor layouts exactly while you are reading.

The friends get involved in all kinds of mischief and mayhem (irate Klingons, anyone?) and meet up with many costumed fans of the comic world. A must read for any Con goer!

It felt more like a travel guide than an actual story. There was very little plot and more of a description of someone's visit to the convention. That being said, I did want to know what happened next to the characters. Ultimately there was little character growth and actually little actually going on in the book but since I understood all of the geeky references made in it, I kept reading to the end.

I may be biased since I wrote it, but I enjoyed every minute of it. :) It's a fun a breezy tale of four guys and their adventure at a comic book convention. Available in paperback and on Kindle with more devices to follow.
